Wheels are done. Went for a bit of a change so we'll have to see how they came out. Picking them up shortly and having the new shoes put on. The rear end didn't exactly go as planned. Couldn't get the 4.30 ring gear so we went with 4.44 Trans should be complete by the end of the week. Gas tank is still up in the air so we'll have to wait and see what happens with that. Might be cutting it up... might not be. Not exactly sure yet. Will get to it once new undercoating of the chasis is complete.

Pics coming soon.

Wheels

The inlays got a little messed up so I am scouting for a company to remake them. I might only be able to order them in mass quanity, 250 minimum, so I might be selling some new RE-A inlays for AW-7s. lol.

Wheels came out great though. Tires will be in next week!

You have to have the pictures uploaded somewhere else like shutterfly in order to embed them in the body of the message

Update

Rear and trans are complete. Couldn't get the 4.30 ring and pinion so I went with the 4.44's. Should be fun since the rear tires are a bit larger than factory. Everything is panted and undercoat is complete. Now, it's just time to put her back together. Should be coming together quickly now that I'm back from Afghanistan.

assembly

Suspension is going back in. Rear end and the rest of the suspension/driveline will be all in tomorrow evening. Then we'll be reassembling the front end and putting the wheels back on. Next will be the fuel system, oil system, engine, and wiring. Should be getting tuned in the two to three weeks.

Engine pics will be coming soon.

Diff and trans are in with the new banzai driveline bracing. This should help prolong the life of my new trans and diff. More to come soon.

Most of the car is together. We have run into some odd snags but we should be coming along nicely next week. Fuel system pictures coming soon. Awaiting a new clutch so we can drop the motor in and start working the turbo and intercooler set up.

fuel and oil

Alright everyone. I'm home from Afghanistan and in Dallas. The car is coming together nicely but I haven't taken many pictures. I took some with my phone tonight but some of them are kind of crappy. A little blurry but I think everyone can get the idea. Let me know what everyone thinks. The intake mani, TB and elbow are out at the machine shop getting "worked", if you know what I mean.

The oil coolers are 25 row mishimoto and we went with as many black fittings as we could for under the hood. some we couldn't but I'm sure you can figure out which ones. Will post more soon with the intake manifold "modifications" and the rest of the set up tomorrow night. We have plenty more to go. Will hopefully be getting tuned on the 5th ish.... Got a lot of work to do especially since I have the FSU game on Saturday.

Feedback is welcome. Fuel system will be complete tomorrow.

Nice man. Cant wait to see the car after all the work. Haven't really done anything with mine. Hoping I can start working on her next year once I finish a few other projects.

Update... finally

Sorry everyone for not posting for a long time but the car is basically complete. We ran into some snags along the way (other than busy with work and school).

Went on leave to finish the car and couldn't get it running with the new Adaptronic ECU. Took it to Steve Kan for him to figure it out and tune the car. Just didn't have the injector duty cycle set properly.

Got the car running and on the dyno for it to not put out nearly the numbers that I wanted it to and blew the turbo-to-manifold gasket out.

Replaced the gasket and back to the dyno for the meth controller to take a crap and not function properly.

Now we are just going without meth and only running 16 psi. It's only making 330 whp on a mustang dyno (about 10-15% less than dynojet).

I figured that it would have made around 450 with the setup, T04Z, Xcessive LIM w/ fuel rail, ID850 and ID2000 injectors, hollowed out UIM, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, Vmount intercooler (which i think is part of the problem)

I said screw it and decided to just tune at 16 psi and ship it to florida. I'll run E85 later. Will just need bigger primary injectors later. I still can't believe that the AEM meth controller went out.

Fuel system

Here is what the trunk looks like now. Too bad the meth controller died out. As well, we removed the R1 spoiler and went with the 99 wing.

Popped gasket

Here is a short vid on the dyno. Kind of unexciting.

WOW! This is how you do a proper color change! Great work! The only way you would be able to tell is the over spray on the wire looms.
