I'll need new ones. Not super worried about that right now. I did find a factory antenna, water/meth kit, cargo cover, and an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump. Getting stuff sold off right now. About to come out with a "FS" thread to get rid of some more of these parts. Should be ordering the black fuel lines, black fittings, and oil lines with coolers shortly. It's going to come together nicely. Looks like maybe next week the driveline will come out. Pretty exciting!

Will post some more tonight. Nothing crazy, just of parts coming off.

We've had some slight... "snags". But the engine should be coming out next week. I did decide to go with an Adaptronic. Should be selling my 3 bar map, AVC-R boost controller and PFC soon.

Hopefully by 1 May the trans and rear end will be rebuilt and the gas tank will be all welded up. Hopefully next week I'll get my for sale thread started so I don't have all of the old parts laying around. Should be well on it's way by next week though. We'll just have to see what other issues arise.

did a little test fit of the manifold and turbo today. Lift is going to be empty by week's end and the 7 is going up. Driveline removal pics coming soon.

Ps. ALL wires and hoses are being eliminated/hidden with this build. Stay tuned.

I will. My dad has gotten caught up in a 3KGT build that keeps running into snags. He is out street tuning today to put some miles on the car. Tomorrow is full dyno tune with Steve Kan and then that car is finally out of his hair. I think this monday he is pulling the driveline out. Hopefully dropping off the trans and rear end with Chris Ott at RP to be rebuilt and the RE-A wheels to be refinished. Engine bay is getting scrubbed and painted along with chasis components. Then comes wiring tuck. Engine is getting cleaned up and painted, fuel tank is being modified for sump, fuel lines and oil lines are being changed to all black AN fittings and lines...

There is plenty to do before the ECU is wired. I'm going to be running AEM coils wired for direct fire, no OMP, boost control function, and the LC-2 wideband all wired to the Adaptronic. It's going to be an extensive build and should all come together in about 60 days once started. That is the plan anyway. Steve Kan will be tuning it at the end. I'll be sure to keep updates on my build thread and on the adaptronic section of the forum so others can see how everything comes together with the ECU.

Tearing it down!

The tear down has begun. There is about 22.5 degrees of play in the rear end. Good thing I'm having it rebuilt. Might be buying a ring and pinion. Going to pull EVERYTHING down and clean it all with scrubbing bubbles. Brings it down to the factory primer. Hopefully tomorrow everything will be ripped out. The radiator is dented pretty good from the last owner. I'll have it cut and rewelded up. Alot cheaper than buying new.

Will keeping post plenty of pics.

motor and trans come out tomorrow

How the hell do I post pics and make them larger instead of just having them as these tiny little attachments? Mods? Anyone?

Anyhow, motor and trans out tomorrow. Rear and gas tank out sunday monday time frame. Everything is getting dropped off next week.

Looks like we have some gasket matching to do on the new Xcessive LIM. I just ordered the four port rail and I think I'm going to jump on some Injector Dynamics 850's/2000's and get rid of my Bosch injectors plus get rid of my FJO injector driver. Won't need it with the ID injectors. Motor and trans should be out tomorrow.

Fuel and LIM

Four port rail showed up today. Rear is still not out yet. Can't find the damn key to the wheels. Might have to find a "universal" key. lol. Any ideas as to where I can get one? The upper mani and lower once all is ported and port matched will be polished. Fuel lines will all be black. Should look pretty hot when complete. Will keep posting pics.

Any idea how to insert pics vise attaching them?

progress

Couldn't get the wheels off because I don't know where my lug key is. Had to get a "tool" to improvise. Then, the socket was too large so we had to grind it down to fit inside the wheels. Forged steel doesn't grid down so easily. I think my lug key is in my tool box in FL. Oh well. I wanted new lugs anyways.

Driveline and and wheels are getting dropped off next week. Will grab a new set of lugs when I have my new tires mounted after the wheels are fixed. They have a bunch of curb rash that needs repair.

But, wheels are off now. Attacking the brakes, rear suspension componenents and then the entire rear end is coming down. Going to be an empty chasis pretty soon.
