Porting wise - a Street Port is all you need to have some additional fun IMO.
Engine builder - Depends if you want to ship the engine somewhere. Obviously we have fantastic builders that remain across the country: IRP, Banzai, DNAGarage, Pineapple, Kilo, Pettit....
What will be more important is what turbo setup you plan to use? Keeping the twins? Going single? If so, what size?

One other option to put on the table is a new Mazda crate engine. That's the route I took, it wasn't too much more than a professional rebuild, although in my case a rebuild would have also included the cost of replacing damaged parts. But it also means that you still keep your old engine if you want to rebuild it yourself (I'll get to it one day I swear!), hang on to it, or part it out and sell it. I also agree with Pete above though, as a lot of these decisions should be made by thinking about what your end goals are.

Planning on:
- Small to medium single turbo (don't know what kind yet).
- Street/Race port for the engine with all cooling/oil passages mod for the engine.
What most people do with OMP? I would like to keep it. I kept OMP on the last build because I don't want the hassle of adding oil when filling up gas.

I don't know about most people but I kept mine. I premix on top of that as well. I like the added protection of an OMP in case I forget to pack some premix and I'm far from home. I've got a friend who does this too, although I know there's more schools of thought on the matter.

Don''t remove it. The diff/trans braces out there are in addition, the structure of the car isn't designed to take a load without the frame.
The PPF is one of the best things on the FD - keeps the whole drive train in line and rigid. And it actually weighs VERY little for what it does.
