rebuild of a 95 fd shave, tuck and going to make a lot of power with a 13b
where something like this is useful is on a project like yours.
the gist of it is having the option to remove relays and useless wiring in place of these devices.
just imagine having one box (or a few) where you feed it a main source of power (say 60amps?) and you then run all your inputs to it (blinker signals, headlight switch, brake switch, etc) and run your outputs to the same box(es).
now the wonderful piece of any cool pdm is the software, where a user is able to program his own logic to enable / disable outputs. just use your imagination to come up with w/e combo you wanted but something i'd like is a push button starter without the mess of the additional wiring with typical relays.. and the off/accs/on/start positions using a single start-button.
these are parts of the logical-state crap i was talking about. so in short, grab some FETS, wire 'em to a micro controller and write some code - tada! a backyard pdm and less wiring in the chassis! :-)
oh its a pretty simple idea.. using a processor and FET's to switch power on / off.

so ive gotten some more stuff done on the car this weekend
some more wiring stuff me and a buddy labeling the wiring harness

also took out the fuel lines and the rear brake lines

also started on making my power rack into a non power rack thanks to this thread https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/how-de-power-your-steering-rack-942543/
starting to tear it apart

rack out of the car

tie rodes off

all holes welded up

all how i left it for the night still have some work to get done one the rack. anyone know wat kind of bushings i sould get for the suspension ?

man this this is so dirty

than i started working on stripping all the paint and factory sealant off and decided that i need to do this outside its going to make to much of a mess in my shop.

If you havn't finished with the wiring harness.... Would you be willing to post detailed pictures of each plug close up and exactly what they are? That would be a valuable asset to this forum.. I've been looking for something like that for so long it's ridiculous!!!

Just playing! lol. I got a 95 as well. Ive torn apart and redid engine harnesses a good amount of times but ive yet to commit to the front harness. There is some simplifying you can do to the front harness that ive noticed with the fan relays and the relay box by the radiator. Now if you did remove the abs then you could either mount all your fuseboxes, battery, or whatever you want in that space. Engine harness already looks tucked other than the wires feeding to passenger side but you could easily run them through the tranny tunnel. I planned on doing that to mine with a 25pin deutch connector or however you spell it somewhere on the tranny tunnel then making a pigtail off that so if i ever decided to switch from Power FC to Haltech then wiring should be quick and simple. Def looking forward to what you going to do with the wiring
I've got pig plans for the wiring just have to find time to do it lol. Im working 6 12 hour days lol. So Sunday all I wanna do is relax lol. Plus were bout to tear the old shed that we work out of down. And build a new one so that will slow progress down too

hahah sorry for thread crapping
I dont know if you bought the suspension bushing yet but i bought the ebay delrin kit and installed it went together well. I made my own delrin for the front struts and engine mounts.

I'm offering free shipping on bushing kits right now. I stock Powerflex bushings as well as AtomicRex pillow ***** (street and race versions) and OEM Mazda pillow *****. I'll be selling some high quality toe links and trailing arms pretty soon in case you want to upgrade them rather than replace bushings on the stock pieces. Send me a private message if you need anything. All orders go out the same day or next business day
I'm subscribed to this thread to see how the wire tuck and the rest of the car comes out
