I'll be honest, the mods aren't my cup of tea. I get the appeal though. But I do really appreciate the craftsmanship. I don't even care what this car becomes, I just want to see how it gets there.

Joey don't forget to box out your sway bar mounts. Its a weak spot on the front suspension. Looking great see you next month.

Its been a few years, but i remember the guys at Howe saying you need a minimum 3/4 an inch to for a shroud. That being said that thing looks great and fits like a glove.

It wouldn't be my first, second or third choice of colors, that being said it's your car. If you like that color then go for it.

The color of Jonathan's car is North Shore Blue Pearl, it is a factory Honda color. He's a local over here.

Look through the House of Kolor color chips on the web,. They have a few shades of teal. TCP Global sells the stuff through amazon.

If you go with a pearl they're an absolute nightmare unless you get it professionally done. Doing them at home in a poorly lit garage will lead to patchy paint. Trust me iv been there and done that, painted the car 3 times to get it right. It's even harder to get right with a pale base coat.

That FD in Honda colour is really good though. It would be a colour I would choose

Pearls are great when they're right. My car is in mazdas Rx8 stormy blue, when it's in sunlight it's just looks amazing. It looks almost black in places and as you walk down the car with the sun hitting it at different angle it's cloud changes all the way through too light blue. It's a PITA to photograph too but I will figure out how to do that one day!!

Pearls are not that difficult to do if you know what your doing. As you said spraying with bad lighting isn't the best way to go about it. You also need to understand how to set up your gun correctly. If your not atomizing the paint and getting an even flow of material you'll end with a bunch of stripes as it sounds like you learned this the hard way.

Hey!

Just read through the thread and I just love it! Keep it up and keep us updated!

What size is it on the couplings used for the cooling hoses?

Best regards
