If you go with a pearl they're an absolute nightmare unless you get it professionally done. Doing them at home in a poorly lit garage will lead to patchy paint. Trust me iv been there and done that, painted the car 3 times to get it right. It's even harder to get right with a pale base coat.
That FD in Honda colour is really good though. It would be a colour I would choose

Pearls are great when they're right. My car is in mazdas Rx8 stormy blue, when it's in sunlight it's just looks amazing. It looks almost black in places and as you walk down the car with the sun hitting it at different angle it's cloud changes all the way through too light blue. It's a PITA to photograph too but I will figure out how to do that one day!!

Small update took everything back apart so that the motor can get painted and assembled.
Empty bay yet again
Also mounted the prop valve for the brakr line tuck.
The motor and brakes sould be painted this week so ill post pucs as soon as I get them
