once the motor is back in, the next step is making the widebody kit to tame those nasty wheels and tires.

Best not to waste time on any more modifications. Your turbo will lag on the street and the nitours kit will blow your engine, wet or not. Be prepared to rebuild every 3rd run.

engine is for my street car, not track, and already has 2500 miles on it with a different turbo setup that made 600rwhp for all that time, no rebuilds yet, so I really dont think ill be rebuilding it and blowing it as you speculate, but I do appreciate the positive feedback.

are you seriously driving your car around with the wheels sticking out 3+ inches from the fenders? (and hoosier's on the back wtf?)

As I said earlier, a new fiberglass body will be made to fit the wheels and tires once the car is properly tuned. It will not be driven as you currently see it (other than down the block and back once its started up) with the wheels sticking out.
Again, the motor has around 2500 miles on it while making just over 600 to the wheels with a similar turbo setup. Boost comes on around 3800 rpm and is full out just under 5000, so its fine for street use. If I was too concerned with lag I would have stuck with the stock twins. This wont be an ultra responsive auto-xer by any means, but it will be more than ideal for what I intend to use it for.
The steering is rather light, i'm not too worried about the larger rubber.
Streetable means all sorts of things to different people...

I have to agree there. Wheels are silly looking. A couple things you may want to consider. Your choice of apex seals for the power your looking to make isn't going to get you there. Also you won't be making 700whp at 27lbs of boost on pump gas and alky inj.
What type of fuel system are you running and what ecu/ignition system?

Interesting Build.

I would love to see how it is, the way it appears right now, it might be destined for track-only use. But I am sure you know what you are doing, looking very nice.

Good luck with it!

Ernie I have to admit I've never been a bling bling or chrome fan, especially when it comes to wheels, but they're the Veilside wheels I've wanted since I was a kid (damn fast and the furious rx7 had to ruin that:-/), plus they're different than all the 5 spokes everyone has so I'm down with them. They're definetely not for everybody. I'm sure they'll look better once they have fenders around them...

This car will basically never be used on the track (other than a quarter mile here or there for the hell of it just for numbers, maybe an open track day at Road America). Think of it as street ovevrkill. Again, it should make much more sense once its complete

Nitrous may or may not be used. We'll have to see once we have it up and running.

What seals would you advise Earnie? Engine has made over 600 with a few more psi left in it. PFC and Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump for fuel. Exhaust has been opened up quite a bit as well. We'll see what we can do with the current setup and go from there.

1) 2500 miles is NOTHING.
2) Your previous setup has nothing to do with your current setup.
3) Nitrous WILL blow your engine and the only people that use it need it to spool up turbos about the size of yours on track cars that make few passes before rebuilds.
4) Youre "building" a 700hp streetcar which is akin to putting dubs on a shopping cart(its a waste of money and it makes you look like an idiot).

Let me help you figure it out: you don't like me. In fact you hate me because i try to pack your crack pipe with common sense.

Youre gonna want to look at some NRS ceramic seals to hold that kind of power. They will destroy your engine when it blows(thats what 700hp 2 rotors do: they break, ask ernie)The seals are well over a grand so get out your checkbook.

you should have stuck with supras,
barban.

I'm with Barban on this one. What is going on with those wheels? And 700hp on a 2-rotor motor? Come on man. Don't develop an "I'm different than everyone else here" complex. Everyone here is trying to give you advice... Thats it. Physics is physics. Its not gonna change because you want your 2-rotor to push more than everyone elses. There are a number of well known FDs which push 700+ hp but they are 20b motors. You should look into ceramic seals and zermet rotor housings. Thats all that comes to my mind. I can't even imagine the lag on this thing.

Who is going to build your drive-train for this? Are you really trying to make a street car out of this? Man I cant wait to see this thing. BTW Piping job... Real clean. Good work!

Barban comes off a bit harsh, but has a couple valid points and is wrong on others.
1. Nitrous WILL NOT blow your engine if its built for it.
2. "A waste of money" is in the eye's of the beholder, not everyone elses. His car, his business on what he does to it.
3. The NRS one piece seals will do it for you.
4. You will need a better ecu and ignition for 700whp
5. 700hp doesn't mean you will blow up.
6. Barban, if you followed my build, you'd see Ive been running over 700whp for over a year of steady pounding and abuse. It just now let go, so don't act like as soon as you hit 700, your done for. I dont' care if you have a Supra. Running 40lbs of boost will take its toll on any motor after a year of constant pounding.
7. You may want to consider a 2 Piece E-shaft and pinning your motor to help with the flex.
8. You'll need more of a fuel system than you have.

not sure how many times I have to say it, but everyone keeps asking about the lag, the turbo should be making boost by 4000rpms at the latest. Ernie, what do you think the cut off for the seals I am running is? Just curious. Also as far as the boost and power goals go, I am not sure how many pounds ill be running, made just over 600 at 24lbs with a rich tune on it last year. So I guess my end goal for realistic street use is around 650rwhp. Also ernie, Where is pfs located?

The problem with those seals that I and some others had was they warp at higher boost. But if you keep things under 25psi, you should be fine.
