Also, Marc over at CarbonRX-7 sent over my carbon fiber blank gauge cluster in matte finish to mount a Racepak IQ3 dash... I will also have the matching blank HVAC panel for my custom switches and and matching blank shift panel soon too.

Not sure yet...I need to trim for cage on the left side. Then I need to bolt up the rear oem part to it. And the one I have is a 93 in multiple pieces I just glued together... I'll be fiber glassing and covering it before bolting on. We'll see how it turns out. Wish someone could just sell me the rear part but no luck searching for one. I kinda wish he made the whole thing in carbon, not just the front section. Oh well.

Just piling up some more parts lately... I have bought my Seibon carbon fiber hood and hatch and my Racetech seat recently. Will find free time during holidays to knock off a few items from the list below...

My general "To-do" list:

-Mount and wire up Flex Fuel sensor on rear subframe
-Mount new Fuelab fuel filter
-Measure, cut and crimp all Earl's teflon fuel lines
-Re-install my cleaned oem fuel tank
-Terminate wires for rear fuel pumps, rear lights

-Install front AP BBK and rear brake kit
-Install Tilton brake proportioning valve in interior and fab and run brake lines

-Fab brackets to mount interior dash
-Mount battery master cut-off switch
-Provide power to starter and alternator/ mount firewall bulkheads
-Mount starter, slave cylinder and clutch master

-Mount boost control solenoid
-Run EGT probes through firewall
-Fab heat shields for turbo

Happy New Year everyone! Finally had a chance to turn some wrenches over the last couple weeks...

Brake system almost done! Just need to mount Tilton proportioning valve and bleed the system. Props to Sake Bomb Garage for a VERY NICE BBK! Rears are stock rebuilt calipers with the Sake Bomb bracket and two piece rotor kit.

Also had to trim my Crooked Willow CF brake ducts a bit to clear the new rotors...

All fuel lines are Earl's Ultra Flex Kevlar braided PTFE tubing. Will be crimping the rest of them this week...

Glad you guys are still liking the build...

Just got these in the mail yesterday thanks to "Kevin Doe"... I'm happy he decided to pop out a few more sets of these after I practically begged him for over a year lol. Thanks Kevin, quality is top notch!

Forgive me if you've covered it (happy to be pointed to an existing page/post), but what brand braided lines and crimp fittings are you using? I'd like to use similar on my race car build, but the Earls crimper was drug money at over $2kUSD.

Is that what you're using or another brand? Is there any other crimper options?

Good question... I actually thought about buying the crimper until I saw the price tag. Luckily the shop anplumbing.com who I ordered from is about 40 minutes away from me so I mocked up my fittings and hoses, marked them and took them back to get crimped. If I were you I would just take it to any hydraulic hose shop, they should be able to crimp them pretty easily. It literally took 5-10 minutes to crimp all my lines.
