YESSSSSSSS. i have mine too, just been lazy to get it done. cant wait to see pics.. i dont think plastidip is "great" but its a damn great solution and the results are acceptable in my book. its a lot nicer driving a car not worrying about a 5-7k paint job!!
ps i really want rpf1s

yea I am excited to see how it looks with the plasti dip... I will hopefully be painting it on june 2nd but we will see how long it takes us to 1/2 tub the wheel wells with the shine auto fender flairs, hood mod, shaved gas cap, antenna hole & wiper whole.
I totally agree... I am a novice racer I wont feel as bad if I slide into the ditch or brush against the wall with a 150$ paint job vers the 5-7k paint job ha.

I say leave it in the box just for that picture. It'll give you something to think about if you ever do have a fire.
I really think you're making a mistake with that plasidip being that the original paint is there and doesn't seem bad at all. You just need to paint a bumper cover to match and it shouldn't be that expensive.
But you seem like the kind of guy who needs to learn the hard way so I think you'll do what you plan to do no matter what anyone tells you.

Well this is how the weekend went!
Here is Robert hard at work with the air saw!
I call it ART! lol
Air vent installed int he car!
Jk... here is vents bonded to the hood.
Hood pins cut in
used red spray paint for primer to hid the body work better.
So this was the first time painting and we put the plasti dip on 2 thick on the hood... In this pic it is still wet but this morning it did look ok.. not perfect though which I am ok with for now.
