TX My first fd build:)

So as some of you guys may know I found purerx7s old candy red fd and bought it fairly cheap. Haven't had much time lately to do much but I slowly worked on it when I had a few hours to spear. With work and kids its kinda hard to do much. Lol but any ways ive already striped the interior out and I striped most of the front end this weekend im hoping to pull the motor out for paint and tranny swap in the next month or so hopefully everything gos as planned and get alot of stuff done before summer.. Plans are to weld up all the holes and seams in the engine bay and mini tub the front wheel wells for more rigged support, plus keeps water and dirt from getting thrown in the fenders and engine.. Then start body work and cleaning up previous body work that was done.. Theres alot of other stuff but its a long list.. Heres a pic or two and ill try to take more tomarrow before sun gos down.

I find it interesting to see how jacked some of these FD's are. The only high point I can find is the learning process is forced upon you and you'll end up being a well rounded responsible owner hahahaha!
This one doesn't seem too too bad...

Man I hear you on that ive looked at some may fds around here in texas every single one I looked at was so close to being destroyed and all unfinished project's that some owners work, not to bad month now one, but not up to my standard of quality, but finally this one came up in for sale in the town I live in and I had to pick it up. Price was right and all the work purerx7 did to it gave me a great starter.. Just needs a lot of work to get it were I want it lol and a lot of dollers haha

As bad as it looks now, I'm glad someone picked it up to bring it back to its former glory. I don't understand the point of buying a nice car like that only to run it into the ground.

Yeah a friend and I were talking about this actually... if people would just fork over the $$$ it takes to actually keep these cars nice we wouldn't have this problem. With that said some of us probably wouldn't be able to get in them at a reasonable price so yeah its a give and take situation I suppose, we use the crap state of the car as leverage to save on the initial cost of buying in.

I think so, you just have to make sure you fill in the basics. Location, price, appropriate title. You can also only bump it once a day.

Small up date some clean up on engine bay getting ready for welding up the seams in a couple days if weather stays clear.. And make a bash plate for easy access to intercooler and radiater.
