Not sure I updated, but a week or so after installing all the ac components, I lost all the refrigerant and it seemed to have come out of the compressor, possibly the over pressure relief. I had purchased another 2nd hand 95-96+ R134 JDM compressor somewhere around then but was fed up and never put it on.
This past weekend I swapped that in and refilled the system. It works great in cruising, and when the coolant temp triggers the cooling fans after a while of idling or in traffic. But the ac itself isnt making the cooling fans come on. Not sure if thats just the way the FD works or a setting in the power fc or something else. Will be doing some research and diagnosis.
Got what I believe to be a bonez or pfs high flow cat. Car was running a resonated midpipe and muffled rear section that were something like 85mm. Want to keep the boost in check and also reduce the exhaust smell. Sucks to start the car in garage and whole house smells of oil and gas 😁
To go with the HFC, I ordered a HKS Hi Power exhaust. Very reasonable at like $360 shipped, and ive had them on a few other cars.
