Nothing going on with the car since last update. Driving here and there. Picking up a few interior pieces, should be able to finish off the textured items swap on the dashboard atleast. Having a smooth HVAC and textured console + cluster surround has really bothered me lol.

Also got this wing in today. Requires one new hole in each side that I dont have. Not sure? Angle is weird but an idea of what it would look like.

There were already 8 holes in the hatch so earlier I said screw it im putting this thing on. Had to drill and tap a bolt hole in the spoiler since one of the studs was broke.. The front holes for the oem R spoiler line up pretty decent so just used a sharpie on the middle studs to transfer a drill mark.

Need to get it outside so I can see it a good overall view of the car but I like it?

Let me know if you need any random FEED stuff. I used to go there a lot and made some friends. I think all their stuff is pretty widely available on yahoo auctions, ebay, and on their website, but stuff like stickers and things might not be.

Honestly, while he does great work, I've always preferred stock looking RX-7's. The only things I was interested in were stickers and maybe the brake master cap. I got quoted I think about $200 for a full Fujita Engineering sticker for the hatch window and decided I wasn't that rich, lol.

Here's a link to their other/misc. section. http://www.fujita-eng.com/other/index.html

I also like this intake part or whatever it's called.

Oh, story time. I wanted to do a tarmac rally race in my car, but a week before the event my engine died in the middle of traffic. It started up again once it cooled down, so I took it to FEED to get it diagnosed. The coolant seals had failed and it definitely needed a rebuild. Since I'd just spent tons of money on a roll cage, bucket seats, license, etc. and told all my friends to come watch, I wasn't going to let an engine rebuild stop me. So I left the car there, he rebuilt the engine, and I stopped by around Wednesday to pick it up. Only to find out that he meant the engine rebuild was done, but it still needed to be broken in and retuned again after that. He said I'd have to drive it at least 500 miles before he'd retune it and left it at that. With the race only a couple days away at this point I had to do it overnight to give him time with the car the next day. Since almost all highways in Japan are toll-roads and are ridiculously expensive to drive on (about $1 / mile maybe), I got on the loop road, which only costs about $10 when you get on it, and drove in circles all night. I finally stopped at about 470 miles because I was getting dizzy and falling asleep at the wheel. I took it to him in the morning and he just looked at me like "This isn't 500 miles." He re-tuned it anyway, but grumbled about it like I'd done the bare minimum. Great guy, great shop, but I wouldn't want to be his children or to work for him, lol.

My car had one of those FUJITA ENGINEERING banners across the rear hatch when I got it but the sun had taken its toll and some of the letters were coming off so I scraped it.

I've been wanting to grab one of those red brake master caps. I bought a red oil cap, not sure why I didnt get them both.

Thats the feed elbow, probably no better than the greddy but it has FEED on it so that makes it cooler

ahh yes i understand. I wasnt a fan of the spoiler but somehow works on your car IMO. the CC diffuser helps pull it off. Didnt like it on my stock body car but looks good on this one. Also its very functional

Made a $3-$400 oops this morning.

Finally got a textured HVAC piece and swapped it out.

After pulling this thing 3-4 times in the past, it finally had enough. Available new in Japan for about $280 for both, but so far that comes with an additional $150 shipping

Ouch. That happened to me too. Instead of going for the oem replacement I found a seller out of Canada that makes them in carbon fiber for about 190 US. Fitment is perfect and looks really good. Its something to think about.

I thought about doing that too but where the hood broke, it also broke the cluster surround by the screws pulling out between the two. So i'd really need both. Found a cheap surround though so maybe i'll look into that more.

I guess I got lucky to have the only one to fit? I drilled my own holes and put back on the oem clips. Fits just as good as the oem one.

Try Draklore or Bubbletech for these interior pieces... not cheap, but I can speak to Drake's quality! (Have heard good things about Bubbletech but not used them myself.)

I was able to find cheaper shipping for brand new mazda textured hood and cluster bezel through amayama. About $380 total vs $420 or so through nengun. Ive not pulled the trigger yet but that seems the way to go.

Almost forgot you're RHD. You can find RHD cluster hoods brand new or second hand for a good deal. Lucky dog.

It will definitely come back out in pieces. But for now, better than a gaping hole.

The box may very well have come pre-perforated... my HPI FMIC for the 180sx had a perforation on the packaging precisely for this!
