note to self... need to start wearing gloves while working... this time I slammed my hand against the frame edge pulling the intercooler pipes off! it was not going loose so I pulled hard and BAM it let go and my hand punched the metal! nothing a little shop towel and ziptie can't fix to make a bandaid!
After searching HIGH and LOW for slightly longer engine mount bolt I finally found one! had to use like 6 washers to get it shorter to the length I needed but it got there! (issue was the block is cracked right by the mount screw hole so the threading wont hold... I got it in.
Car is now dropped on the floor and fluids going in! then only need to tighten up loose ends and hope it starts up!

So I took off friday with excitement to get the car turned on after a long overdue wait! and while wrapping up loose ends noticed that I was leaking coolant from one of my coolant lines running to the turbo because the end ripped the hose! well we fixed that and finally pushed the car out of the garage to start it (knowing there would be a lot of smoke fromt he oil in the enginge that was there to keep the seals lubed)
Well, good news is... the car turned over with no problem what so ever! bad news was... smoke from the engine bay right away! after two more tries and getting the same effect noticed oil under the car! after a few look arounds we jacked the car up and found oil... long story short is the manifold is cracked and the oil was leaking out of there. SO IT ALL NEEDS TO COME OUT AGAIN to get he manifold fixed! argh....
Here is a pic of the car out for its "so close yet so far" finally out of the garage pic.

also aside from stickering up mobeoners car... Albert (2RotorsNaDream) came by to look at what a real single turbo looks like since he is talking so much smack over there. hahaha. He stuck around to BS about **** and helped me out pulling the manifold back out!
Were able to get it off without having to take off the DP and without taking off the turbo lines! Going to get it fixed and then waiting on some new bolts to come in and hopefully it can be back in and ready to start up again on Saturday!

good point on the oil! will definitely do that before the manifold gets back in.
Tom, the car is hot enough, and nothing was connected before anyway jus figured I take the lines out while I had the room... plus! I never drive it in the winter, and even if I do I have yet to rive the car for longer than 5 minutes with the windows closed! no matter what the weather.
HOT FIXES all the way dude! as long as it holds it till you get done!

I went thru the trouble of running heater lines on my single turbo FD and I agree with you, the floor boards get hot enough that I never turn on the heater.

yeah like theorie linked... we had a large rotary meet there last year and that was one of the pics I took from there! you will see a few of that location on the forum since there was a huge turnout that day!
Thanks man... Yeah it was a real bummer! I could have definately left it like that but I don't want to cut a corner like that... I hope to get it done before the weekend so I can Put it all back together Saturday and get it started again and smoke out that oil and get it running! (I HOPE )
