What kind of assembly grease is that? Looks like MolySlip grease.

A-Spec told me that the GT3574R (They said they just came out with a dual ball bearing version of this turbo about 6 months ago now) would spool faster than a gt35r but it would not be able to make as much peak power. However, it should still hit 400-450 depending on total car setup.

So that was my decision to go with a turbo that peaks out lower, for the added benefit of quicker spool... Now if only I could get that kit delivered to me. They are a bit backed up on orders at the moment.

But your build is looking pretty damn nice.
oh word, i gotta look into that GT3574R.

but i was thinking bout it, i can make over 410, oh the 35R, then ill go for it. might as well lol

thanks

alright sorry for the lag of updates, been real busy...

heres were i stand at the moment..

My FD oil pan needs to get welded up before i slap her on..

still waiting on my motor mounts to get made.....

and still waiting on more money...

also i plan on getting my Upper and lower intake manifolds powder coated purple(sorry im ghetto) ... need feed back...

also i might want to upgrade my pulley set up and get the unorthodox(however you spell it) pulleys

also mocked up my RE-Amemiya Turbo manifold, along with my oil filter relocation, and custom fuel rails and regulator.

but heres some pics.. Enjoy

Note: my room is messy, my carpet is stained with oil, cuz ive torn apart motors in my room haha..

A-Spec told me that 400whp is more than achievable on the GT3574R. I have mine on the way (they said it shouldn't be much longer)

And your build is looking fantastic! Quick question though. On the UIM choice: In what ways is the RE uim better than the REW uim? And vice versa? Would one promote the spooling of a turbo more than the other?

Sorry if it is a mundane question, I have just realized that I had no clue (beside the "pulse wave balancing" design in the REW manifold.
