Dan, those are the Super Now pulleys from Japan, that is how they are constructed.
Regarding the RE-speed oil fill neck, if I have any more problems with it I'm throwing it in the trash. Poor fitment on the block which required modifying with porting tools, my R-Magic oil cap won't screw onto the threaded portion, and to top if off there were metal shavings in the neck that I had to spend time cleaning so that they don't get into my oil pan. Not happy, to say the least.

Tom, that's not a bad idea at all. where did you get the cap?
as Dan mentioned might happen, the neck itself isn't hitting the throttle linkage but any oil cap with a larger diameter than the neck will hit.

I should also mention I have a LIM heat blanket on the way from Elliot over at Turblown
A pair of teaser pics of the compressor housing that is in the mail to me. It was polished, had the 500R etched into it, then it was given a UV coating to keep the part permanently polished

however if you use a "custom" oil cap, this one will not work. it has a different thread...

Another update, I just picked up a spare set of used Fikse FM5s and will most likely use them as track wheels. Plan is to disassemble them and have the center section coated in a black chrome powdercoat and leave the lips polished.

Thanks Don
I also picked up a few quarts of this stuff, I figure I'll try it on my motor before recommending it to customers:

Hey Rich ... Looking great! hopefully you can do mine up that way, the block at least .
I don't wanna barge in on the thread, but I saw you had issues with the Respeed filler neck. I wouldn't give up on it right away, you may have just gotten a bad one. Here are a few shots of mine during my test fit. Disregard the nastyness of the engine, thats why its coming to you!
No issues w/ the block fit...
My cap fit, but it took hours w/ a thread file, lapping compound and some fancy buffing wheels. I wasn't happy either, but I made it work.
re: The interference w/ the TB, your issue might be that the GZ LIM pitches everything forward, and as you can see there isn't much room there to begin with. I'm using a huge cap too, so there my be room with the stocker or something smaller.
Not trying to defend Respeed here, just showing my experience with the part.

That's another thing about it that annoyed me.....while spraying the inside of the filler neck with brake cleaner to rinse out all the metal shavings, the paint on it started to flake off.
