Heard from George at Gotham. He's busy working on the oil system so it shouldn't be much longer

Anyone know what an "ecutout" is? I think it's the trick downpipe we're going to install in the car, one that dumps to atmosphere at a predetermined boost level controlled by the Haltech, but I'm really not sure.

Yes, it's like that except it will be automatically controlled by the Haltech ECU. This is what I thought. Spoke to George about it today.

How about speaking to Alex and ensuring Don does the intercooler piping and ecutout work on Monday as planned?

George says he'll have everything else buttoned up tomorrow so we can start this puppy up whenever Don gets done

Yes, it's been a long time since I've had the car up there. It's going to be fun though. My home in Asheville is about 10 minutes off if the south entrance to the Blue Ridge, very close to the Folk Art Center

you should have gotten a pimp pad on reynolds mountain that would be a fun driveway to speed down!

Yep, three years later and more money than a Porsche will probably not make you very jealous

Spoke with George today and he's busy on the oil system. Tonight or tomorrow morning Don the fabricator is working on the intercooler piping and then the ecutout system. George swears that's all that is left. Hopefully we'll hear a little "zoom zoom' soon.

When you go pick it up, if you come back through Nashville give me a call and I'll buy you a beer. Least I can do for you sharing your "experience" with us over the last three years.

I would think his alcohol tolerance is pretty high after the last 3 years of what he has gone through, I know mine would be.

Small Update:

The oil system is now done. George finished it up on Monday. Don the fabricator was supposed to do the piping and ecutout system yesterday or today. A few iPhone pics (come on George, send me some pictures from a real camera!):

The zip ties on the extra oil filter have been replaced with a custom metal bracket.

I would be bullshit for a professional place to take that long especially what they're charging! Not to have my babe for three years would make me go insane. This is like giving your girlfriend or wife to someone else and be fucked for three years and counting.

Hopefully it's worth it.
