David, I live in Melbourne FL and would really like to check out your car in person. I am also currently doing a 3 rotor build and would just like to see yours in person. If your going to have it dyno'd this coming saturday (and you don't mind), I would definately like to check it out.

The current plan is to dyno the car on Saturday. I emailed Jesus a list of 10 items to be addressed, with most of them being minor things. You never know but my money is on Jesus tht everything will be ready to go by then.

I'm going to call him again this Thursday and I'll post up the final plans then. Bewtew - maybe you should call Jesus and see if he can tune your car at the dyno?

Did someone say Rx7 Meet? I'm in LOL! Dave we meet last time you had the car tuned at the Dyno by Jesus. It wouldn't be a bad idea for a couple of us to get together to root you on.

Okay, I think I have pm'd everyone back. My plan is to be at Delirium Motorsports in Kissimmee FL (south Orlando) by about 11 am for the dyno runs. I'm calling Jesus to firm this up as we all know how the best plans go out the door with these cars. Hopefully it will be all done and the dyno will be a go.

Will post more tomorrow after speaking with Jesus. FDwannabe, no new pics yet. Stupid me forgot to take pics of the car last week when I was there. Will have camera in hand this time for pics and vids of the dyno runs.

 

Hey David I've been checking in on this thread for way to long. I only come here in spurts and this thread is always on the front page. Its ashame that it has taken the turns it has you are a very patient man. I really hope this time the car goes home for awhile. Good luck to you sir.

 

hey david i stopped by jesus shop today to talk to him about tunning my car and i saw your fd and it looked very nice and seems to be ready.
he wants me to bring my car fri and dyno it sat.. im very exited to see these beast on the dyno!

 

Jesus said you came by. My car is still not quite ready and it will be a push for Jesus to get it all done for Saturday but we will see. This might bump your car Friday I am afraid. I would love to see both of them on the dyno though - would be quite fun.

Since I spoke with Jesus yesterday, I am now going to call him tomorrow morning to see if Saturday is a go. Will let you guys know as soon as I know.

Well, tomorrow is off guys. Jesus is not quite ready and I am under the weather anyway. Will regroup and try again early next week

Spoke with Jesus today and he's made good progress. The PLX gauges are all operational. My setup is a little difficult as I have six sensor modules and two LED displays. Would have helped if the PLX sensor units had LED lights on them to tell Jesus if the units were powered and "speaking" to the control unit. I'm going to call PLX and give them this as feedback.

Anyway, I think Jesus is down to hooking up the Greddy boost controller and tuning the car for a higher level of boost so it is likely Tuesday is the pick up date. I'm going to call him Monday to confirm.

I'd love to have the car but my stomach flu is a little grateful I didn't have to make the 2 hour drive down today Could have been interesting.

 

David, if you wait a little longer, you can see my "new" car too

He told me he will finish painting it teusday, but I get it Wednesday. So i guess not! Plus I got some new "bling" (those wheels we looked at) last Friday!

David, Is this still on for Tommorow? I would like to stop by. What time will you guys think you'll be at the Dyno?

 

Tomorrow is off Something is wrong with the Greddy boost controller and Synapse wastegate setup and it won't hold more than 14 PSI of boost. I have Synapse calling Jesus tomorrow at noon to resolve so it looks like Thursday/Friday for the new pickup date.

Bummer.
