Just starting- 93 roller

Always, always been in LOVE with the FD's and finally made the decision to do it. Bought this is in San Diego a few months back... black roller, decent shape. First things first, at least for me, and that starts with getting the body straight and 'things' correct. Not much progress yet but at least I'm moving. Have toyed with idea of doing a LS switch but am having a tough time processing a bastardization. Would love to ride in someone's rotary pushing ~325whp to really decide. I'm in South OC. Here are some photos and I'll keep progress coming. I'm hoping to have this running by end of summer. Have been hawking these boards for years and actually bought one without ever riding in one. First photo is when I picked it up... from here it's down to the metal

next step in progress. shaved a few things; eliminated rear wiper and side blinker lights. a few more dings than first thought but overall very happy... no bondo and no previous damage(save for a destroyed front bumper/spoiler hence the white replacement).

Looks like you're making good progress. What color are you going to paint it?

Updated

Getting ready to wetsand this week and then spray... redoing the interior in all black, not a fan of tan, and then I'll get going on a powerplant. I contacted Japan2LA and will be getting something from him in the next month.

Hoping for a ready to drive by end of May.

I have no choice but to start from scratch, which I'm actually excited about. I'm gonna grab a JDM motor/trans from Japan2LA and have Lucky 7 get it ready. I'll post more when I get my setup and what I decide to do(checkbook will decide from there)
