Joel's 93 efini rebuild

Hey guys currently have a engine being build for me by rx7Specialists in Calgary Alberta. stock rebuild with better than stock rotor housings and race apex seals.
anyway im making progress. started taking the engine out yesterday ill throw up some pictures as well

so far rad, exhaust, driveshaft, chargingharness, intakes are all off

today i gotta pull the ecu plugs threw the firewall then im gonna hook up the hoist take the 2 mount bolts off and start taking bars off to lower the trans down,

are there any plugs i have to remove on the trans if im taking the engine harness out with the engine?

also what is this plug it has been off since i bought the car?

That plus has something to do with your boost control, there must be an aftermarket boost controller in the car. That plug gets disco'd when you run a EBC. I believe that's the case.

so i took the 4 nuts holding up the transmission off and the 2 underneath the engine and it wobbles back and forth like it should, but for some reason when im using my hoist it will lift up a bit then stop lifting

The starter is held on by one bolt and one bolt&nut... Underneath (once removed) there is another bolt under where the starter is...*

Before you disconnect it all, make sure you undo the clutch assembly... *Etc...

There are a few videos online about it...

Basically...

Remove clutch slave...
Remove access planes to looks into bell housing
Push fork assembly forward, then with a screwdriver, 'twist' in between the gold circle clip... And the fork assembly to seperate

This is a video, of what I just tried to explain...

There are 4.... Connectors on the tranny that go to sensors,*

They need to be disconnected, as they are apart of the engine harness...

Cheers (from Red Deer)

Nice looking 3rd gen there, more pics all around and I prefer photo bucket to do forum pics,
just got to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket it's free. As I have buttoned up an engine replacement a few months back I sympathize about the leaks and tracking them down had one that took a month to find on the back of the water pump housing. great to here you got it fired up, will be waiting to see how she runs.

So nobody cares but winters over in Regina SASK. got my emissions delete all done. I used Rotary Resurrection's 3rd gen emissions delete guide.
I got the banzai racing block off plate kit. Had no idea how much **** the JDM intakes don't have compared to the USDM. anyway I also got the OMP block off kit. Also I heard for premix 1oz for every 1gal. If someone can confirm this that would be super.
So I work in the oilfield and its break up due to mud. I have been waiting for EI for two months now.
I haven't decided if I want to run the non sequential twins and drive. Or just go with my build and wait to finish to drive it. I already cut out the flapper doors, ill decide when I get my EI. If I'm still alive when that happens.

Anyway for all those wondering.
Official build:
rebuilt Stockport (1,700kmATM)
Gt3582r ball bearing
Turblown enineering turbo kit
2000id secondary's
Stock 550 primary's
400lph pump
A1000 regulator
Power FC
Custom vmount intercooler kit
HKS twin power
Tien super drift coils
Haven't decided on brake kit
Haven't decided on a clutch

Anyway ill put up some pics of the engine all emissions free and also I rewrapped my engine harness and stripped all the emissions wires.

So car is running basically stock right now with rebuilt stock port and race apex seal engine; power FC, innovative mtx-l wideband, Feed 3.5" full exhaust no cat and apexi intake filters. Full emissions delete and OMP delete. Full non sequential conversion. I rewrapped and deleted all unnecessary plugs from the harness. Waiting for my experienced friend to tune it Monday or around then.
Any idea what wheel HP I should be able to put down?
