JGTC GT300 RE-Amemiya RX-7
JGTC GT300 RE-Amemiya RX-7
Hoping that some of the forum members may be able to help find more details & pictures of my RE-Amemiya JGTC GT300 RX-7. It ran in the 2000 season of the JGTC championship. It also featured on Playstations Gran Turismo 2.
The chassis/rollcage is from Mazdaspeed. I contacted Mazda & they verified from Japan the part number & serial number from the Mazdaspeed ID tag attached to the rollcage.
The car runs a 20b PP intake restricted running Motec M4, 6 speed Hewland gearbox, Quantum & Mazdaspeed suspension, Brembo brakes & Desmond Regamaster Evo wheels.
I have seen old pictures of the old Japanese RX-7 magazine featuring the car on the cover. I have tried to track down back copies to no avail so if anyone still has these would love to hear from you. Trying to gather as much history on the car as possible. If anyone has pictures or details other than those currently found on the net I would love to see them.
I have tried contacting RE-Amemiya however the language barrier is proving difficult. If anyone has contact with them I would really appreciate hearing from you as well. I am sure they will be able to answer everything & more.
I am working on getting the car to a state where I can get it out on circuit again. Would love to bring it over to Sevenstock somehow someday.

Yes the Speedhunters artcile was done where we debuted the car at WTAC in Sydney before it came back to NZ.
Will definately be at Leadfoot this weekend & running the car.
