I've got various locations where I've blogged about my fd project in different states of completion...but I've failed in putting it all in one spot....(snippets here, snippets there).

So to start a project thread in this forum...might be a failure. But since I've waited 5 months and counting for the body work on the car, and managed to snap some pics, I couldn't resist sharing what I've got so far.

So I'll just be unusual about it and post its progress...backwards with what's most current first!

and the suspension that's been done.....I haven't had time to even do the alignment yet! I had barely dropped the car back onto the ground, when it then was driven straight to the bodyshop :X ahahaha.

I was just going to paint my car a nice glossy black until I saw your car Carol. I'm going to have to do some pearl now. haha It looks great. What's the spring rates on the Ohlins?

color - interlagos fire....although i might have gone opal black if they had released the color code =/ oh well, no regrets.

rims: 18 x 9.5, 10.5 +22, +18 ...i honestly don't remember my tire sizes, i bought my rim setup about 2 yrs ago and it had been sitting in the garage all this time. it's been awhile!

ohlins are 11k rates.

seeing that you painted the body w/out it, are you still putting on the FEED fenders? just double stick taping it or molded in?

rear fenders were still getting sprayed at the time.
car should be done in another week or so!

hEY Carol--- i met up with Ken at his shop on saturday and ran into your FD @ the location getting wet sanded. Looks really great. The picture of it in this thread don't really do justice of the killer paint process. I had my Nikon with me and was about to take some snaps but i didn't want to ruin your surprise.

BTW the C/F thing on the trunk by you know who of Japan is PURE PORNO. A must for this years SS..............

Thanks Rich Hopefully the car should be ready for Sevenstock this year.
I've changed gears also and I've sold off everything that I intended to put together for a KS twin setup,
and I'm trying to decide what Aspec single setup I want to go with now (^.^)\/

What are the specs on it? Like engine work? What are all the exterior mods that have been done to it?

Suspension's fully done. Interiors complete (well, all the parts are in the garage and it just needs to finally go in). Bodywork's complete (FEED front, fenders, afflux GTIIR wing,and sides... R-magic headlights...RE-A diffuser).

All that's left is to finish building the parts for the motor. Originally had a RE-Amemiya VMIC and Knightsports twins going in...but I changed gears this year and sold it all off.

Will be going with a custom VMIC setup and a billet turbo kit from Aspec. Been collecting the parts for the whole setup

Since I've seen the Car in person----------IMO----not a fan of the color choice but, the paint job is to die for. Amazing how much wet sanding was done in order the achieve the PURE PORNO paint job.

The Original FEED spoiler is also Pure Porno. I have never seen a real one up close and I must say that the quality of the material is well worth the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I hope all things are in line for you to make SS this year so that we can finally put a face to the name.

Best of luck with the rest of the pending parts you have in mind for the FD.....
