Looks great. Always liked the CW with red/black interior. Speedhut gauges look great too. (And no issues with the gauges being accurate regardless of changes in ring and pinion or tranny.)

Car was pretty much done. However murphy's law runs true. I rolled the dice and not rebuild the engine in this car during since the compression was good. Engine lost compression in front rotor during a spirited canyon run last week. Good thing I have a spare engine ready to go. Car is back at Lucky7 getting a back up engine put in. Hoping to have it ready by sevenstock!

Before the engine went I was able to take it to Japan Classic Car Show and snapped some recent pix!

What suspension are you running? I am always a fan of clean 99 spec builds

Make sure and try to diagnose why you went lean before inserting engine 2.

Got my carpet from this guy. https://www.nsxcarpet.com/
He makes a mold of NSX and RX7 carpets. I am not sure if he still does RX7 carpet anymore but you can try to contact him. The fit is pretty good but not OEM though. A lot of triming is involved to get it to fit.

So I upgraded my single turbo set up. I was running precision 6266 turbo that was installed by previous owner. Not a bad set up by any means but I was tired of the dual ewg noise. Tried to re-route it back to downpipe but ended up making it more complicated than I wanted with the fitment and ground clearance issues and what not. After doing much research on efr turbos I decided to pull the trigger on 8374 iwg set up. Also got the inconel sheilds for manifold, turbo, and downpipe to keep the heat away from engine bay. Love how clean and compact the whole set up is. Currently waiting to get it Dyno tuned!

Those look like Turbosource./Turblown inconel sheilds. They work well, I have the turbine and LIM units.

Got a Nardi D-shaped steering wheel and reupholstered it to match to rest of my interior. Pretty happy with my interior right now. It took some time, but other than some minor things here and there, I can finally say I am pretty much done tinkering with my FD.

I have tried many steering wheels in the past. The D-shaped Nardi steering wheel is pretty much the perfect steering wheel for the FD in terms of size, position, and feel. I can actually heel toe without my knees hitting the bottom steering wheel!

Noticed you have the spirit r style radio. Do you remember doing the wiring on this?

I noticed the two plugs in the back are different from the 93 FD. Did you use both plugs on the back of the radio?

I'm curious on this too. Johnny, the one you bought didn't look like it came from a Miata, it might have come from another Mazda like a Millenia. I'm not sure if the wiring is the same. I couldn't get the button illumination on mine too light up.

Check this thread for wiring:
https://www.rx7club.com/interior-exterior-audio-26/bose-modular-din-radio-install-513449/page2/

The Bose and non-bose should be the same.

I bought the radio from MattGold and he included the wiring harness that was plug and play to mine. May he can shine some light?
