Probably just me buyt I hat ethe way those Shine/Craft ones sit higer than the skirts - tehy don't flow - plus they look really odd from the back.
This from a man who's just fitted the diffuser above

In other news - I've just driven her, and she didn't break down. The fans also came on, which I was really worried about, as I thought I may have killed the wiring for them.

I now vow not to touch anything for a good while. Maybe.

I also did this.

Tacky is the new class

EDIT: Hmm, anyone want to tell me how to embed YT vids?

I've done a bit more wiring.
Got this junk to fit somewhere inside the cabin:

Plan is to hide most of it away in the glove box with a wooden frame, as most of it is a 'fit, set, and ignore' thing (like the profec) but just leave the Defi link meter on display so I can read the various parameters I've got sensors for. Realistically I don't use the commander much for readings while I'm actually driving.

Idea for the interior us the same as the rest of the car - going for clean, uncluttered, and functional.

Also did a vit of wiring in the bay:

changed the loom entry point and fitted a smaller grommet, and ran a custom loom for the Defi's through it. Also replaced OEM water and oil senders with Defi units as the stock gauges are rubbish, and the Defi oil pressure is much smaller.

Brad

Mr Bubbles sir - your wish...

You can see how bad the paint is there, but wire wise it's looking pretty clean now I reckon.

WOW look at all that space in that area!!! Plugs and wires must be a BREEZE to change.

Omg i wish my car was RHD lol

Hehe - if you'd ever had to do anything to the twins, then you'd be glad yours is LHD!

Plugs are pretty simple though!

Brad - cheers man
Nah, I've got hold of a Defi control unit and the link meter - I'm going to pop the link meter below the stereo, then it can jsut show what I need. My dash gagues haven't worked for a good while.

Few more shots of the relocation - From the bay:

From inside:

Carpet down:

(please excuse the mess - interior wiring stuff happening!)

Also took the opportunity to take a few shots of the 'other women' in my life...

Small update time With help from Craig at Dyno-Torque, and Kev@Billetbitz.

After moving my loom, I was left with a big hole. I spoke to Craig as he mentioned in the past that he knew a dude that could laser cut metal, so I wanted to get him to make me up a disc to glue over the loom hole.
Craig wasn't happy with this, so instead, he turned me this rather bloody lovely alloy bung.

Man got skills!

Test fitted - you can also see the awesome purpleness supplied by Kev@Billetbitz lets me use my Defi oil temp sender in a stock ish location. Love it. Contact the man himself and get yourself some awesomeness, NOW!
Guess I'd better paint the bung, but it seems almost a shame! :o

I also spoke to Craig a good while ago about sorting a tow hook solution. I needed something for the track, but dodn't want to chop up my lovely 99 spec bumper, as most of the 'universal' hooks require you to do. Craig had a quick offer up (after being gobsmacked that my car was actually running) and then a few days later sent me a piccy of his 'test' piece. Went in a couple of days later, and after a quick offer up, fitted perfectly!

No cutting, no chopping, no drilling, no butchering. ******* WIN!
Huge, huge thanks to Craig for sorting this. I know I plug him a lot, but the guy's bag of skills seems to be endless, and he's a bloody nice bloke to boot.

Also, flew through the MOT - advisory on rusty spring, that was it - ah well, looks like I'd better get some coilovers before next year then Or not, as as the car should be moving to our new house (and associated tandem garage ) in 3 weeks, so I may be more than a little short of cash for a while!

I'd forgotten how much I love driving this thing - it's properly madly brilliant.

Nothing to report unfortunately, and there probably won't be for a long time have just moved house, and we have a lot of work to do, so both time and money are likely to be in very short supplt for a good while. On the plus side, she now has a bit of protection from the elements.

I can haz Nur spec?
Loves it.
Magnecor KV85's fitted, non carbon interior dome fitted, Nur spec on. Road tax runs out end of the month. Then off the road indefinitely. Time to get out there and enjoy it.

It's supposed to be like that, apparently. SiH's car has some sort of unusual rear light configuration that only uses the one each side. I only know this cos I made the same comment once lol

Sounds excellent, Si. Much better than mine did when it had a NurSpec, oddly. Weird. I could never take a video like that... it'd be about ten seconds of choking smoke filling the garage before the camera melted lol
