Really? 95%? What "experience" would that be then? It probably explains why you are noticeable by your absence from the UK forums....and why your ludicrously overpriced car failed to sell there recently. I suspect that your statement above is utter bollocks, and if you ever turned up to any of the meets and saw the quality of UK cars for yourself instead of living vicariously as a forum troll you may have to eat your ill-advised words.
Still, de nada, everyone's entitled to an opinion, no matter how narrow-minded and unsubstantiated it actually is and I won't foul up Simon's thread any further on you

Yay, I love a good bitchfest
Anyways, let's here more about me
**** man, I never replied to your email - will do this week
Hope you and Helen are good dude, gotta catch up
Not done too much of late, but some bits have turned up, amongst them, my custom Bearskin hat.
Air filter from Pipercross - Huge thank to Luke Tibbs who sorted out the perfect filter to fit in the difficult space I've got, for a great price. Also offered to do it without logo's, and in the Triumph foam that they use - how's that for service. All for a fantastic price all things considering. HUGE thumbs up to Pipercross. Very impressed.
Also picked up this little beaut
It's a St Mays Shotgun - don't see many around, and they're pretty mental looking exhausts! Saw it and just had to buy it, also thought that it may be handy if the Racing Beat I have proves a little too restrictive. However, upon closer inspection the pipes are only 2 1/4 inch. However, if it's restrictive, I've got a few plans to make it a bit freer flowing.
one of the baffles was rattling around inside though No bother, out with a lonk pulling stick and Dremel
Here's it next to my Racing Beat - it's utterly mental looking!
A good mate also very kindly modified my downpipe for me - moved the lambda bung to somewher emore discreet, and stuck another one in for a wideband.
Trace, you're an absolute legend :notworthy
So now all wrapped up in 'Magma Wrap' - supposed to be good to pretty high temps.
Terrible photo, but all of the exhaust except a slight section of the rear wrapped.
Guess who ran out?

Ellie was looking really chilly, so I got her a space blanket.
Fuel system is now complete, except I've run out of P-clips
Pump on rear subframe, via my Heath Robinson spec clamps
Needs a **** shield.
Swirl pot and lines in place.
Fuel lines and brake bias valve (needs properly fixing)
Going to make up an alloy **** shield to protect the lines from stones. Either that or go stainless. (even though I HATE stainless braid).
MASSIVE thanks to Craig@Dyno-Torque, who once again did a bunch of work for me on a friday evening for an amazing price, to an amazing standard. He welded an extra brace onto my swirl pot (as he wasn't happy with it - stupid perfectionist :p ), welded a brace onto the exhaust to hold the two boxes rigid, and Timeserted my manifold to make installation a sh!tload easier, all seemingly in about 5 minutes.
And then he made me want a V8 :/
Need one more rubber line for tank return (stupid Royal Mail ) then that's the fuel system done
Picking up manifold stud tomorrow, then it's just make up a tubby gasket from the copper sheet I've got, refit tubby and manifold, then, errr, ummm...
Oh crap, then I can start her.

Yup
I know at least 5 people who#d been using them on RX7's for several years with no issues at all
Happy to try stuff like this, no massive risk - if it doesn't work I've lost about a tenner, no biggie - engine will have to come out when I repaint and smooth the bay anyways, so I can inspect them then and see how they get on. Can get the block out in about an hour now anyways, so pretty simple to pop new ones on

He, I'll grab some when it's next up in the air - anything in particular you want to see dude?
Haven't done too much of late, however, have used up all the deadening - I'm done with that now.
Have done a bit on the roof:
Select areas of the floorpan (and a whole bunch on the tranny tunnel)
and also the doors (mostly double layered) and boot lid (shuts with a hefty clunk, and doesn't open properly now! )
All the panels are noticeably more solid when you knock them, and does seem quieter inside with the engine running
I've also re-done the brake lines in the bay in an attempt to make them neater, and get the flares sealing correctly:
and constructed an intercooler drying out device
(Had SSQV flange welded on, pipes were stuffed with rags, removed rags, then rinsed with petrol and wanted to get as dry as I could)
So wanted to get it running and on the road s at the weekend but failed
Bled up the brakes, worked perfectly, lovely feel when static, really solid pedal.
However, issues:
- No matter what I try, clutch will not push fluid - have come to the conclusion the master cylinder is boned. No idea why it would have given up the ghost after 3 months of doing nothing though? New seal kit should turn up this week.
- Trying to sort the PAS leak I've had for yonks that's due to oversized return pipe (lazy install by me...) - can't find 7/16 or 11mm hose that's suitable for PAS fluid ANYWHERE!
- need to polish up the second hand SSQV
After that, wait til the start of the month, get tax, then hopefully get her on the road. In the mean time, I might just do some poilshing or something.

Ah, I totally forgot man, sorry dude - I'll try and hunt down the pictures tonight
Not done much of late - trying to buy a house at the mo (with a garage, finally!) so I've promised I won't do anything that might disable the car before we move in in a month or two! Not sure rocking up with a car missing panels and on the back of a trailer is the best way to find favour with the inhabitants of a small village in middle england!
Picked up a Defi controller and link meter that I'm going to mould in where the dash speaker was, and a few other bits and bobs, but I've just been driving it really. Still no mapped, so tiptoe everywhere, which is killing me right now.

Few small changes, but not much at the mo, added a Re:A style diffuser, but I think I hate it and it's too much:
I was looking for some way to continue the lines of the lip and skirts, and it does, it just looks a bit vulgar from the back.
(Excuse ride height, it's resting on a jack.)
Currently ***** deep in a wiring mindf**k
Alternator rewire, tuck, ignition rewire, and TP installation

Cheers guys
Barban - I kinda agree with you dude, but I still haven't had it on the road to see what it looks like anywhere other than my drive :o
So, today, I thought I'd finish the wiring tuck, and start her up.
After driving round half the country trying to find a place with an M18 copper washer to fit the banjo to the oil pedestal, Finally found one.
Home, taped up the alternator connection, and turned over. Turned, but didn't fire.
Something stupid, I thought? :o
Check the connections - forgot to plug the alternator control in
Replaced - nothing
Can hear the lift pump priming, but that's just from ignition live. High Pressure pump isn't priming.
So I jumped the pump to see if it was that, turned over, nothing, so I guess I have no spark.
I have 12v at the coil connector.
Stuck my head inside and noticed that the Commander wasn't lit up.
This suggests to me that I've either blown the ECU, blown a fuse (all look fine, but is there one in the footwell box?) or, alternatively, I've disconnected the trigger wire from the ECU.
Does anyone know what colour it is? And is it a switch on the earth, or the live?
The blue/black trace EGI wire is switching. If I earth this the lift pump circuit fires into life.
What I've done since it last worked:
Removed diagnosis box
weeded all the junk I don't need from the alternator loom.
Run the 12v in the ignition circuit to a relay and run a direct battery 12v to the coils and ignitor. (this is switching)
Any ideas anyone?

Sorted - don't cut the black wire with the white stripe... Or the black wire.
Yeah, that's right, I chopped out botht he switched live AND the live to the ECU - don't do things by halves...
All running, and bay looks heaps better. Now to figure out why my leccy PS is now non existant!

Are those the Craft ones? I'd looked at those, and tbh, I'm not feeling them They sit too high in my eyes - maybe that's just me.
Mr Bubbles sir - your wish...
You can see how bad the paint is there, but wire wise it's looking pretty clean now I reckon.
