cool thanks for the info. did you get the vulcoflex 2? what size did you get? the operating temp for them is kind of low. it says max temp is 110C. not that my fd SHOULD be getting that hot but it does/did see occasional temps of 98-100C. i wonder if using them close to their max rated temp like that is ok

the greenstripe hose is rated for 125C

how have they been working out for you so far?

At idle my car is at 83c, when I'm cruising Its at 86c and under heavy load I hit 90-91c so they are good for me. I don't remember if I got the vf1 or vf2 or the sizes though. I just took a piece of rope amd measured as close as I could.

Just read the whole thread and am loving the build so far. Seems like all the good deals are in Miami. I plan on getting the 99 spec plateless bumper but from what I understand the fiberglass is prone to damage easily. Have you had any serious issues with it while driving or Auto-Xing yet ?

I'm gonna jump in here and answer for him! hah , his is polyurothane. he brags about it being poly instead of fiber all the time hah!

I on the otherhand have had both fiberglass , and fiber reinforced plastic bumpers . and I really rather prefer poly.

Tem120 is correct. Mine is poly. It took a lot of work to make it fit like stock but in the end it has been worth it. It is rigid enough to no withstand high speeds and wind but flexible enough to give when it hits a parking stone.
