a little update... pretty much done with the garage.. just need to screw the walls and ceiling on the spray booth and add another shelf or two, and change the lights..
first off sorry for the shitty pics i was in manual mode and forgot to change all my settings plus it being freezing cold out i didnt care...
a little teaser of whats "planned" for next year...
you can also see a sample piece on the door....
and the garageee!

a little update! still working on the garage... i think i want one or two more shelvves... other than that once its garbage day i can toss some junk and should be able to get the car in and ge to work!
Stole this idea, tool cubby. my favorite storage yet.
added a side shelf on the left of the tool box and added another shelf above.. (which was a fail. i didnt think to measure the height or anything so i occasionally bump my head.......) there will be a light underneath the shelf projecting onto the table
managed to clean up some too
pics of the booth... still not done, need add light, run an extension cord, make a permanent ceiling, finish wall that faces the garage door, add shelves inside for powder coating materials

I so need to clean up my garage. Now that I'm done with the mayor "fab work" with the interior panels I guess I could.
Cool project. Threads like this motivate the hell out of me.

Yea, gotta dig up the TB. Haven't entered the garage in weeks.
how about those 99 spec's... they could port matched to the gasket size and the wg. Port them like Garfinkle offers but keep them still in sequential form.
Might have to scoop those too, my twins are giving me a warmup smoke show.

and now some car pics... as she sits..
mm roll cage! im pretty sure im gonna have it powder coated pink... if not it will be white...
my fruitiness..
the silver kills it, stands out way too much and is distracting. thus im think im shying away from a chrome color... im a not 100% sure what color to paint the engine block and accessories.. im thinking of ceramic coating the housings white and the irons/acc. black. (both flat)

tuur down part duoo
seats and dash...i really hate it... i think im gonna rewrap it... i was going to just ripped the fabric off and redo it but i realized its attached to some foam so idk if i should just wrap over everything or rip it off and do my own...
random shot..
gutted interior... hopefully ill have the wires all labeled by today?
my mini work space lit up
finally got my plier rack from my other house and put it in!
what i was previously using for my plier rack... its actually a cd holder i took off of my old desk.. works awesome to hold my screwdrivers!
in the progress of making a dust trap for the sand blaster
light in the sand blast/powder coating booth!

This is great. I love the car and garage. What Hobart is that (I have a Handler 187, it's great). I was wondering specifically about color-matched door handles on a white FD, it looks very nice. White is one of those colors that just really shows off the lines of the FD. Great Job!

ahahahah i want to marry your car....
i believe it is the hobart handler 180... idk if there is a difference.. but i might be making that up and it might be a 187? lol i havent even turned it on yet, im kind of intimidated by it... i start my welding classes on the 19! =)
the white handles arent by choice, i got the car like that but i definitely dont hate em.
hahah thank you, the garage got a lot of love this winter in preparation to work on the car... i actually got on garagejournal.com (forum) and if you think my garage is nice, they will blow your mind. a lot of my ideas are borrowed from other members... if you are considering fixing up your garage and need cheap solutions that is a GREAT site.
