Bryces fd sort of build
i thought id make a thread to document the progress i make on my sev
so i have a series 7 fd runing a safe street tune at 350hp from the single t4 turbo
i wanted to do a bit of work to the cooling system and tidy a few loose ends up in the bay to begin with
this is what i had to begin with
too much clutter down here
so i started with removing the air seperation tank, i had to get the older series 6 water filler and put the fc filler neck on to obtain the overflow nozzle.
i also got a new alloy radiator to replace the old standerd plastic jobby that had cracked where the top hose went on
i have a dfront mount intercooler which blocks alot of air flow to the radiator so i mounted it on the biggest angle i could without having to hack at anything
i had to make a couple new mounts but its nice and solid in the spot its in now
to get as much cold air towards the radiator iv started to mock up an upper shroud to go above the radiator to direct air flow its a bit ruff at the moment but only half done iv got more trimming to do and will either end up black or carbon fibre
iv got a shroud with electric fans on its way to me from the states and also going to swap everything blue out for new black silicone and wil follow that colour scheme through out the whole bay eventully
moe to come let me know your thoughts and ideas
cheers!!
