Finally got of my *** and started working on the intercooler setup, still not sure if I will be leaving the pipes polished or coat the black as well as the intercooler.

Nice looking work. I'd take it all flat black to match your UIM. Try a black thermal dispersant on it all

David I have being keeping up with your thread lately, and I'm very interested on that thermal coating, I'm going to see if I can find anyone local that can do it, as I really want all the piping, intercooler and Compresor housing to be black.

Looks really nice!! I like it polished, ...draws attention to the uniqueness of it. Black would kinda hide it imho. Love the typhoon too. So sick!

nice work. it doesn't appear you have room for a proper size air filter. are you planning on running some 4 inch tubing to somewhere outside the eng compartment?

No room for a filter. I will be running a screen with a foam filter over it.

I need to buy a TIG so bad! I've been working with a 240 Hobart for several years and it's been fine for my jeep. I'm SOL on aluminum rx7 parts., what machine are you using out of curiosity?

Awesome fab work needless to say. This is coming together nicely!

Thanks for the comments guys, but I got to say that I didn't do the welding, I did all the cutting and muck up but a Local welder did all the welding.

Welding all done. Just need to get black spark plug wires. And either polish or coat the intercooler and piping.

This is very similar to my own build! But you are a few months ahead of me! Thanks for the video of start-up, its very hard to find any "street car" with this pro-jay manifold! Id really like to hear it with a little bit of a rev when it's ready! And/or dyno videos.

Well there is no shame in having the welding done. The layout and cuts look good too.

Intercooler looks great, definitely adds to the engine bay. Keep it polished for a good contrast.

Maybe I missed it, but what dimensions are the core? What radiator did you end up using?

Love the Typhoon intake, what is your impression with it so far?

Car sounds great, can't wait to see the dyno and track(or street) videos!

So finally moving forward again, after few issues that I had running the Adaptronic ecu I finally decided to move to Haltech PS1000 and problems gone, nice to not to have to worry about those issues anymore.

In the past few weeks I installed the Haltech, also dual EGT, FP pressure sensor to log thru the haltech Logging software, also wired in the Racepak Dash.

Waiting on a oil pressure sensor to come in and once I have it wired to the Haltech Tunning will be schedule.
