Looks epic but I came to the thread hoping to see an engine or car with Purple and Gold and Kobe Bryant decals. :-)

Thanks guys.

I tear down the motor and since this was a Mazda reman there were no issues, everything is well within specs, tomorrow I will take the parts to Carlos @ CLR to go over the build specs, and to get a compression test on the 13B as I have a few potential buyers for

Possible specs for the build

Large street port
Oversized Tension bolts
Scalloped, Balanced, Side clearence rotors
All new Mazda OEM seals
Not sure on apex seals, maybe go with E&J again
Oil pump cavity ported
Maybe external oil feed
Custom Turbo Manifold
S475 Billet turbo
Elite 2500 from old setup, I had the harness built with a breakout connector that I will send back to Chris Ludwig to add the 2 additional coils, Injector harness already has 6 injectors built in.

Mounting kit will be a Xcessive mount kit,

Planning on switching from FD tranny to T2 tranny more clutch options.

Small update since I took motor apart, I received the Xcessive mounts and oil pan kit, also got the solid dowels and the oversized thru bolts, that's more than needed for my goals. Besides that not much going on as i had to have Knee surgery and being out of service.

I feel like I'm copying you!

I still have my Semi PP build in the back ground, but I just picked up a FD with a 20B swap that needs some love too!

Interested in the price of your collector, perhaps if you can scallop the EWG in so it has a little bit better flow than 90°?

Not much of a update, block machined for the 4 oversized tension bolt and the solid dowels. Next will be porting.

After 3.5 years of being out, I’m finally getting motivation to finish this project. 20B is home and the work on the FD has resumed. CLR Motorsports 20B. Large street port, S4 T2 rotors clearanced and balanced, and all internal goodies done by the Carlos López. Will be powered by FT 550 , Xcessive mounting kit, FFE fuel rails, ID 1000/2000 injectors. Probably with a SXE480 turbo, probably planning on having Gato Performance build my turbo manifold and Intercooler setup.
