It never looks as good painted as it does in natural unpainted finish.
They're meant to scrape on the ground and flex, which makes paint look like crap.
Car's still sexy AF, tho.

I put the meisters on the FC for the time being, I think I'm going to keep them on there instead and get something smaller for the FD.

Took the car to IRP and had them add a new Walbro pump, an HKS twinpower and John Renna tuned it on the powerfc.

Car made great power for stock twins.

366/339 but the best part about a working sequantial system is the almost 300ft of torque at 2700rpm.

The other red line in the 4s is for a set of BNR's they did on another car for comparison

Bought the Recaros from a member here, had them redone by ESH Upholstering who also make the kit to redo the seats.

Currently going through the interior, re-insulating everything, center speaker gauge pod, innovate boost, wideband and coolant gauges, felt tape around all the plastics, goal is to have it solid and rattle free.

Looking good. Do you know when you plan on having everything done in the interior?

I'm looking for ways to have a rattle free interior to and will be interested to see how your adventures goes.

I'll make sure to take pics, I'm finishing up the dynomat stuff now, I did something similar when I went through my vert and the difference in comfort and quiet was big.

https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...thread-936768/ starts at post 35 if you want ideas.

Agreed. If painting the lip there has to be sideskirts to go with it. Otherwise, leave it black and add the feed style sideskirts as he ended up doing.

I used plastic weld on anything that was broken or cracked and was salvageable.

Bought some cheap felt tape from Amazon and added it to all the panels I put back.

Replaced all the old crusty clips with new ones.

Added more under carpet insulation under the bins and the floor

Most of my interior rattling came from the middle section where the rear bins are, figured I'd go all out there, biggest pain is that most of the attachment points on my rear bins are broken so figuring now how to redo those.

Yeah I'm putting felt where ever I can, I did it to an fc years ago and it made a noticeable difference.

Hope to have it finished by the end of the month, progress has been slow as the x5m is being replaced by the new daily and needs to be de-modded and posted for sale.
