... Not all that familiar with Willow Springs but looks like that time would put you 2nd and right behind the 918 spyder on the all time fastest street production car list, and ahead of the NISMO GTR. Not bad for a 20 yr old car huh!

Alex, top level race car fabrication work! But, I doubt you could pass inspection as a daily driver
1) With that "camel hump back" torque curve, the optimum shift points for max acceleration may not be obvious. With flat torque curves, you shift at redline. But with the hump, there is an excellent program to find those shift points: Shift Point
I made a tedious excel spread sheet that does the same graphically, and it agrees with that link.
2) Having tracked the car, do you feel the stock rotors size is adequate? Looks like there is room for bigger ones.
It must have been amazing to be out there with a 4 rotor screaming down the straits! I bought my 93 as an upgraded Track (and some DD) car, influenced by the looks of the 787B, when it won the 24 hrs of Le Mons in 1991.
I did the same type of adding side plates to make sure all the air passed through the rad and intercooler, except my material was stiff rubber sheet .... your looks much better with painted panels.

70 amp relay kit for the other two 460lph pumps inside the sp800
i like gold
the AFTERMARKET INDUSTRIES SP800 3L surge tank with dual 460lph pumps inside
got rid of the 40 series nt01 and got 35s
and off to my sponsors at massimo power for my corner balancing and alignment fix
New sponsors! EVO-R owner Jay Shieh has teamed up to help me for the remainder of 2015 and sent me a carbon GTwing

TUNING TIME!
My tuner for over 8 years is Nelson Siverio. He may also be seen at every formula drift event tuning Kyle Mohan rx8.
Focus on the tuning was torque. We wanted the most amount of torque we could pull out of the stock port yet keeping the boost under 17 psi. We manage to hit 356 ftlb torque more than what we expected and not to mention the 80 ftlb raise from pump to e85. This set up will be intense!

after track day inspection !
I didnt get podium round 1 actually was in 5th place had a bunch of issues.
I started to tackle down all my issues i had at round 1and came up with 3 bad shocks, and all brake rotors were cracked. Time to upgrade so i reached out to Miguel Jimenez senior tech at Wilwood and came down with a racer support brake kit for 2015. Not only that but i am a wilwood dealer now as well!
drilled rotors suck and do not hold up to road racing use. Last session of the day my braking was horrible and had lots of wobble on braking you were warned warned.
my coilovers were in serious need of refreshning. So off to FEAL SUSPENSION. Odi is revalving them up to 1000lbs each and rebuild . I also went with swift 14/16k springs.
sneek peek of the massive 14" 2 pc rotors by Wilwood and power slot rear slotted rotors

i have this ritual after every track day i pressure wash my car. Everytime i do this i find new things that need attention
that afternoon i ask my friend Nader Shariff owner of Built2apex if we could do a splitter. If you notice alot of my pics my car is squatting bad. This will help keep the front down.
So the idea was to have it chassis mounted and easy to replace. I choose ABS because its worked for me and the team.
adjustable rods aswell
firs template was cut out of particle board to get the dimension and holes lines up the abs was cut at a water jet and he saved the file for future replacements.
and since the bumper was out time to run the brake duct hoses. 3" FTW

You have an amazing car, and you did it in your garage for the most part. Good job man. Did you have to learn as you went to do all the different aspects of this build or were you a mechanic and fabricator before you started? Thanks for the build progression posts, awesome stuff..

Has anyone added anti-squat geometry by moving the rear lower control arm attachment location? The idea is to move the rear "roll center" based on the acceleration force, as viewed from the side of the car. Roll here is raising the front and dropping the rear. Same concept as lateral roll in a corner.
