94 SSM first rotary project

Hey, everyone! It's been a few years since I've posted any sort of build thread for a car. I bought this thing at the end of september 2016. I waited a looong time before pulling the trigger on any sort of project. It's my first rotary and although I haven't done much in the way of motor yet, I started with a mostly stock looking FD in SSM - PEP car. The car is rust free (which is saying something up here in NE). Came with a few little things like the racing beat exhaust, HKS turbo timer, intake, neat shift ****, bigger injectors that I honestly have no clue what they are, and a power FC. I've stayed primarily aesthetic for this past winter and plan on enjoying the car this summer and look into power next season.

This is the day I drove it home. Name: IMG_0043_zpsliyjkc8g.jpg

It was a very clean car off the bat but the paint could use some help so it was resprayed OEM SSM.

This is how the car sits now.

17x8.5+40 and 17x9.5+28. It took me so long to start up a photobucket and add pics there to get them here! Haha I'll be adding to the original post when I get back to my computer.

This is one quick one. I'll try to post the progress pics from the winter/spring. I'm trying to find all of the pics but I think I need to look at my cloud or whatever it is because I switched phones and lost some of the earlier ones.

Went to a show at limerock with my husband's supra and was super impressed at the number of people who really appreciated the ol rotary.

Car is similar to mine. I think you could use wider or more aggressive offsets for the fronts. I also want to get some TE37's but my lady wants a ring.

The next offset was +22. I don't want to roll the fenders and the car is freshly painted. I planned on doing a mild spacer to fill it out but wanted to see how it sat first. The goal with this car is kind of OEM+. I don't want to ruin its perfect fenders and I promised myself after my uselessly low wrx wagon that I owned years ago, I would keep this setup useable and streetable. The lip sits a tad low but I can drive it aggressively without worrying about every bump in the road.

And keep the lady happy. If she's happy, you're happy, right? Haha
