^ Yes I run dual 180 degree non drilled stats. I see what your saying about the internal circulation so it maybe it has more to do with the impeller moving more water internally? Another thing I notice at the time is that when I was topping up my fluid with the stats opened, you could see the coolant moving at a high rate. At that point I knew then I would never run the fd pump on my 20b. Shortly there after the pump started leaking coolant from the weep holes so I just sent it off to have it rebuilt. Fast forward to recent times, now that I'm getting my A/F closer to stotch during warmup, it's really taking longer to warm up now. It's amazing how much cooler these engines run near stotch because my engine bay isn't nearly as hot as it use to get.

One other thing, IIRC the FD pump spins counter-clockwise dosent the cosmo pump spin clockwise? Did you re-route your belt to account for this?

Yes it's clockwise. I had to add an idler directly above the water pump pulley because I'm using the air pump. From the air pump it goes back to the alternator and down to the crank. I also had to basically make my own water pump pulley because of the number of ribs the 20b pump has so everything would line up. It was originally a bitch trying to figure out how to make everything work but now that it's setup, its not hard at all to duplicate.

You and me both. Although I don't think there will be any huge shocker with the numbers. We all kinda know what it will do round abouts. As long as she's healthy and will give me lots of seat time without much fuss is all I'm worried about

^ I think 360-370WHP would be a realistic guess.

Gives them plenty of time to get the street driving parts oF the tune perfected. That takes the most time.

damn. sorry guy.

car looks sweet with those gold RPF1s though.

what alignment specs are you going with?

what size are your rpf1s?
i have 18x9.5 +45 and they are great. 10.5+38 would be better in the rear, but i wanted to run a square setup:

Yea its a bit of a disappointment for sure. But oh well, what are you going to do. As far as alignment specs, not really sure. Ill have to ask, but not sure if it was anything fancy or just stock alignment to get it back into spec. Wasn't hugely concerned with it at this point, just wanted to get it straight so its not ruining my tires. My RPF1s are 18x9.5F with 265/35 and 18x10+38R with 285/35 RS3s. Having a square setup would be nice, and Im already looking at changing up the wheels again. Im horrible with wheels, I have a problem.. I do like the gold/bronze though, I think that is going to stay.

^Jacob your new FD looks great BTW.

^ Welp, there goes my week

On the non-kidding side, really look forward to seeing what the care makes and then, your thoughts on driving it. Very cool and unique build.

thanks lenny, i'll trade ya straight up!!!
i'm gonna make a "build thread" today and post pics of the white car. the red one got a little too hardcore -- wanted more of a "nice" fd to cruise around in and still do track events.

i'll be checking back for the 370whp beautiful NA 3rotor dyno

I hear you, Ive been wanting to pick up a nicer quick street car myself. My FD has evolved into more of a track car, which is fine but sometimes its nice to just have something nice. Ive been looking at mustangs and stuff just to try something a bit different.

Just got some updated pics from Logan with everything all loomed and cleaned up a bit. Wont bother posting them all, but I love knowing a physically larger engine was installed yet everything is still tucked back as far as the 2 rotor was

Still working on video, a little trial and error still with cameras and sound capture. But a little tease. Hopefully more soon:

Forgot to mention, currently the highest rpm it's been up to is about 6k, and only about 1/2 throttle. So nothing too spectacular for videos. But Logan said he's been driving it a bit everyday and slowly tuning and turning it up, and he said she feels strong. 1 week until dyno

Another quick clip of break in tuning. Limited to 3/4 throttle and only 7500rpm or so. Starting to sound pretty awesome if I do say so myself

Not quite. Mine is just a large streetport, so probably about 9k or so will be tops. We'll see where the torque starts to drop off on the dyno.
