I am the lucky recipient of Lenny's shine fenders. The body shop guys are attaching braces to the inside of the fenders to allow the OEM liners to be used.

Have you seen the Concept-7 fender liner extenders?

Aww shucks.. why thank you sir And Im jelly of your steering wheel. I love mine but I think a D-shaped would make getting in/out over my seats high side bolsters a bit easier.

Any idea how to go about purchasing a set? They don't seem to be listed on the website.

This all went down in the post pics of your FD wheel fitment thread in the suspension section.

Engine has been sold. Debating on whether or not to keep the chassis for a future build when I have the motivation, or just sell it and move on to something else when finances allow.

Hey all. Long time no update, so figured Id just pop in and give a "conclusion" to the saga. So in a nutshell, car was drive able but still giving me some issues. After all the time and headaches, and even though it was 90% of the way there or better, I had just become tired of it. Couple that with the fact I am working towards some other life ventures and could use the money elsewhere, I made the decision to sell the car. It was very hard, I love FDs to death, and this was pretty much my "dream car". But, sometimes those things just don't work out as planned. That being said, car was sold to a forum member who I'm 100% sure will take it the rest of the way. And I'm sure he will reveal himself when they feel the time is right. I've also asked them that if/when they ever decide to sell to at least give me a chance to buy it back first, as I've put so much time and thought into making the car, if I'm financially able at that time Id love to have it back.

That being said, I guess I just cant stay out of the car game forever. An opportunity presented itself and I hopped on it, and picked myself up a '00 Viper ACR.

Its a different feel from an FD for sure, but at the same time has alot of similarities. My FD felt way more "urgent", as in I felt like that car wasnt happy unless it was being driven in race mode. It begged you to wind it out, and didnt like lugging around at "normal" speeds. The viper with the huge torque and tall gearing has no problem being in cruiser mode. I actually drive it way slower in normal driving than I did the FD. But when you do push it, even though its a bit portly at ~3300lbs, its very nimble and hides its weight well. I will be doing some upgrades in the near future, and if its acceptable and you guys would want to see, Ill continue to post to this thread. Viper forums are kinda "meh".

I've always wanted one of those. Not a bad change of pace if I do say so myself.

My setup is almost sorted. I've recently swapped out the throttle bodies. Maybe next year if we meet at Deals gap, I wouldn't mind getting your driving impressions of mine since you actually owned a more race breed NA 20b. Mine may be more civil.
