Got this package in. The car sat for over 10 years with those old wore out oem bushings. This should really improve the car stability in fast turns when she hits the track. I am going to be doing a combo of these bushings and oem. The goal is a streetable car that will work well on the track.

So as I drive out of the shop a hear a little more wind noise. I am not sure if it's just a mind thing, but it appears that at higher speeds these side skirts help with atability. Is it possible that they create a bit of down force. Maybe someone with aero knowledge can chime in. I just want to know if I am crazy or not. Lol

Thank you ZE Power my brother owns a rx8 and it's a blast to drive. The chassis on the rx8s are just awesome. I currently have a rx8 shift **** and it is great. I bought a re amemiya carbon shift **** to go with my re amemiya short shifter. I will try the **** but if I dont like it I could return to the rx8 shift **** or something else.

Asking for the rx7 community help on this one. Should I go jdm rear lights or stay usdm rear lights? Got a mint set on stand by for 400. Usually I am good about making decisions on my build but not sure about this one. Mine have some scratches on the lenses. What do you guys think?

Thanks for your input guys. I pulled the trigger on the 99 spec oem rear lights and dont regret it. They are in mint condition. Here are some before and after pics. The build is up to date at this point. This is where the car is currently in the build. The tail lights I actually did today. Many more things to come. Some cosmetic some performance. Many parts just setting around awaiting to be installed.

Many more things to come in the up coming weeks. With my 12 year old son racing gokarts the main challenge is finding loose money to continue my build. I often work overtime to try to do one let alone two. Either way my family knows that Christmas, birthdays and fathers day gifts are usually cash so I can continue my build. My car has no sponsors so it's all out of pocket and labor is often done by me. Today i will install the re amamiya short shifter.

Sorry I got so excited that I forgot to take more pics of the re amemiya short shifter. The bushing on my other shifter was in pieces when I took it out. With this short shifter the shifts are smoother and shorter. I bought this from Rich

A quick review of where this build was and where I am currently in the build. The transformation is overwhelming in a great way. Stay tuned there is a lot more on the way. Somethings to be included are all suspension bushings replaced, racing beat sway bars, better brakes, ac unit working, gauges to be rebuilt, interior seats redone with some material taking out and some fun track days. All coming soon.

Those where custom made by a guy I met in Fl. He travels all over the U.S making these custom for all cars. The ones you see on my car were the first he has ever done on a FD. He will be back in FL on October the 5th. He will be making me a front splitter. If you are interested I will allow him to use mine as a mold so you can buy one from him. The material he uses is really great. Mine are out into the hot Fl sun and have not warped at all.

Lmao!! For sure Red94fd. I will take many pics and from all angles. I hope this shifter **** is not all hype. Re amamiya ussually has quality parts. The suspense is killing me. I just want to go through the gears. This car was already a joy to drive but is getting more enjoyable with each mod. Dont get me wrong a oem fd is great right out the box but an fd tailored to ones likes is a blast. Cant wait to get it out on the track. Still somethings to iron out before I hit the track. Coming soon though to theaters near you.

Hello fellow rotards. As I wait for parts or for me to find time to install some parts I have laying around, I figured I would do a review on some of the parts that I have added to my FD. These will just be my opinions based on my 21 years of FD ownership.

Here are my thoughts on the Rotary Extreme vmic. The quality of th build of my vmic is great. The location of the koyo radiator allows to keep more water temps to stay below 190 even in hot Florida traffic. As soon as I start moving the temps rapidly start to drop below 185 even on a hot day. My intercooler works great and does not appear to really heat soak and I am even using a oem hood. I ordered mine polished but after thinking how often I would have to polish it to maintain the shine I had it painted wrinkle black. I like the fact that the intercooler popping is not super long. I believe this helps with turbo spool times. I am really happy with this vmount. The only complaint I have is that it does not come with modded ac lines and no place to put a cold air intake.
