thanks guys, got everything back from the shop after the fabricator didn't do as asked, got the manifold bolted to the motor, need to run to the hardware store and find a few more bolts and pieces. Fabricator also managed to lose the metal gasket ring thing that goes between the wastegate runner and the wastegate as well as the vacuum nipples, gonna order those on Monday. Goal is to get it ready for tx2k12 and have Chris and Ari at Rotary Performance tune it on March 14th.

Plans changed. Not going to Houston next month. Still haven't bought the parts that the fabricator lost. BUT the motor is in. Had a problem there too. I'll wait to see if Casey fixes this, although I doubt it.

Good news is the poly mounts from IRP are in and gave me no issues. I ended up removing a/c and heat, heat will go in but a/c I'm not so sure about.

Haven't been on since 12/16/11, I hope to not abandon the forum for that amount of time again. I kinda missed this place.

PICTURES!
going in

that looks so much better than the big gaping hole that was there before.

A couple of other things. I hate the way the twin pump setup I have looks/fits. I'm going to order the twin pump hanger from Jason when I can afford that. I left my previous place of employment a few weeks ago so I'll order that when I get a new job.
I blew the motor on March 28th, 2010. My goal is to have the first start up on that day. The dual pump hanger is an afterthought, if I replace it before, cool, if not, oh well.
the short list of things to order:
dual fuel pump hanger (not necessary)
wastegate vacuum/boost nipples
wastegate metal seal ring
fuel tank baffle (also not necessary)
line clamps for braided stainless lines
dump tube
oil feed and return fittings for the block (if anyone has a good idea for this I'm open to suggestions)
new coolant lines for the heater core. (yay)

so just some cheap parts. I'm so ready to have this car running again.

wastegate doesn't fit with the downpipe installed, downpipe doesn't fit with the wastegate installed. I'm gonna tow the car to the local performance shop who I trust to do the job once and do it right to have them hopefully adjust the manifold one last time. I might have them finish it up while they've got it there. We'll see, I'm not made of money.

Been a while since the last update. She now runs and idles surprisingly well for 1000cc primaries. The e85 might have something to do with since I need 30% more fuel they injectors are acting like 700cc injectors. Or something like that. I need an oil restrictor for the turbo, right now the turbo is seeing way too much pressure (50ish psi) and smoking out the shop. A couple other bugs have reared their head that I'll address once I can drive the car.

Hey Kyle! That is great that you got it running again. We need another FD in SSM class at the local autocross.
