4th times a charm

Well i blew my motor again this time i didnt have a little break i blew every apex seal. i detonated so hard that it put a huge dent on one the face of my rotor i even blew my 35r. check out the carnage

you can see the seals were cracked on all the corners also if u look at the corners of both rotors u can see the scratches which means i have to get new rotors maybe.

blown GT35R check out the fins on the hot side pretty neat.

on a plus note im going open waste gate and i decided to go a different route and not use my power FC i bought a microtech lt10 engine management and maybe a few more goodies.

I had a microtech LT10s that i never used but got rid of it for 3rd Power FC

also got a sweet oil cap.

I'm also waiting for Enkie NT03+m and a nardi steering wheel. The wheel sizes are 18x9.5 +27 18x10.5 +30. I will be powered coating these wheels some crazy color. i have a few ideas floating around but i think i know what im going to do

the nardi.

thats all for now.

i guess your right. but $1500(if you could get away with that price doing things yourself) is not just the easiest to come by. especially if you had no intentions of putting money into a rebuild

Nice parts there. I was going to say that you'll need to change your sig now, but then I saw the new wheels' offsets.

Nice, I need one of your money trees in my yard. I like everything but the steering wheel. A Nardi wheel may be recognized by some for it's expense, but few would agree that it looks good in an RX7 interior. Vintage Jaguar yes, Mazda FD RX7, No. You do have good taste for nice upgrades though.

I see you are in IL you should bought your engine from the same place your brace is coming from (Banzai). Chris at Banzai builds and tunes great engines that last. Who is doing your tuning?

My first piece of advice to you is to buy a wideband (if you don't already have one) and mount it on your steering column cover, between/beneath your tach with an Autometer universal mounting cup. That way you always know what your AFR is. That's no guarantee against a blown motor, but it will keep you more aware of what's going on in your engine, especially in the case of elevation and temperature changes. The PFC commander also has a peak display mode that will let you know if you had a random boost spike, increased knock readings, or a heatsoaked IAT sensor or something. Even if you take your car to a reputable tuner you can't get complacent. **** happens.
