Thanks , just finished to make the brackets for the left headlight this morning , still needs to be cleaned up on the edges and then painted with the buckets to make it blend in with the car more .

Did some more work today on the bumper fitment and it looks much better now on the left fender , still need to sort out the intercooler cutout , it's so skew from the previous owner . Hope this Friday I finally manage the trip to the tuner , then next week bumper and buckets hopefully go for a nice respray , an some new mesh .

The first pic is the ugly gap to the fender and bumper to bonnet when I got the car from japan . The second and 3rd pic shows the improvement after a lot of dremel work . Still not perfect but a lot better than it used to be

I want to get the old style re Amemiya front fenders side skirts and rear fender flares as well as the old style diffusor . Then re paint the car original chaste white and put a nice anime theme on ( neon genesis evangelion ) . But this will only happen towards the end of the year or early next year . At the moment I only want to get my front bumper and headlights painted , then work on the interiour ( leather or suede dashboard and center console and door panels . The kit I mean is in the attached pic ( the white and black FD in the middle )

I love those headlights but the fitment is what scares me away. They never seem to fit right.

Yes I know , still tweaking the brackets a bit right side seems fine , just the left side Is touching an has uneven gaps . Will still play with the fender a bit and see if that makes it better

white is right lol
seems like you're headed in the right direction.
i would also personally go with an re-amemiya kit if i could but $$$
i've always wondered what a nicely built itasha style fd would look like since i've yet to see one :o can't wait to see when yours is done!

I think its just a coincidence that the model number is called HKS... Its not an actual HKS turbo.
