Ok, so after talking with a few folks at DGRR, I've decided I'm going to go ahead and do a spring parkway trip.

I've again reserved the two group sites we have used the past 2 yrs at the Smokemont Campground in Cherokee, NC. We have space for up to 40 people in the two sites. If you wish to get a hotel, there are plenty in Cherokee (including the casino) and I ask that you take care of your own reservations for that. If you wish to get your own campsite, you are welcome to do so.

We will be camping out Saturday, June 16th. I, of course, will start the day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Asheville, NC and making my way to Cherokee via the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Many of you have attended my fall event so you know how we do this. For those of you who haven't, please ask any questions you have...

As for this years fall event in Oct, I will decided on the date in Oct during the first week of May...

We will see everyone at SB3R, will bring the FD this time. If all goes as planned, we will meet up with you at the Cracker Barrel.

Tray I'll be hopefully be bringing the FB with a Marshall inside. He doesnt get off till 3 though, so where would you guys be tentatively?

thanks for hosting tray. it was good hanging gout with everyone. i made it back late yesterday afternoon with no problems

 

Sorry I missed this one. The wife's tooth is healing still (wisdom tooth removal), and the dog has a vet appointment to have a growth removed on Thursday which should clean up his infection.

Would have rather been driving the parkway....
