I was looking for a powerfc for my fd when zigzag420 pm me stating that he got one for sale. We agreed on a price of $670 shipped for the item. When I asked for the serial number buy provided me with one. He literary got it in like 5 mins. You'll see why this is important later on.....I made the payment on 10-04-11 which was a Tuesday. Seller than stated that he will ship it out Friday after the money clears his bank account because he does not have money to ship it out...kinda odd actually...you don't got $20 bucks??? Anyways, I was ok with that as long as he got it out that's ok with me. I asked him on friday to see if he shipped it out. He stated he did and that the tracking number is in his car. I asked him for the tracking number a few more times and everytime he said it was in his car. Remember how he got the serial number so fast?? Why couldn't he do the same for the tracking number. This was when I got suspicious. Then after pressuring him for a few days about tracking number he finally said that he did not ship it out and that today, Tuesday 10-11-11, that he will refund me $50 and ship it out 2 day air. Well he did refund me $50 bucks....not really refund he send me $50 bucks and I had to pay for the paypal fees. Then I got an email with the tracking number. I was happy.....till I found out that the package was never dropped off at UPS. Today is 10-15-11 and the package is still not at UPS. Claim has been filed with paypal and he have yet to give me a full refund. He did say he would but have yet to see anything happen. Also the address that he gave me when he send me the $50 bucks was also linked to a scammer on a different forum. Hope this will all be settle and I will learn my lesson to not buy from someone with so little post counts and been on the forum for only 3 months. Should had raised a red flag.

 

oh man this is not good news... i purchased a 99 spec lip from him and i'm not getting responses back from him... sigh~ time to contact paypal...

 

yeah I dude is obviously a scammer. How long ago did you send him the money and when did he say he will send it out? We should post any and all information here and link it in our paypal dispute.

I have escalated my dispute to a claim on paypal. I found more then enough evidence to support that this person is a career scammer.

That was the day he only responded to me regarding how he is planning to go to Atlantic City... he didn't even mentioned that he received my payment nor when he was planning to ship out the item. I filed a complaint to the seller yesterday, paypal says I need to wait a few more days before I can place an actual claim regarding a refund. Is this how you went about your case?

 

he claims to be a father of 2 and is working 14 hours a day and also that he can't call of work cause he does not want to lose his job. just file the claim and escalate it they will allow you to do that. Guy also have a new address. don't know if I can post it or not. I'm gonna wait for mod to chime in before I post more info

 

Just an update, I won the case. The buyer still have yet to send out item. Hope this guy gets banned.

i provided the link here, also I put down some of the pm I had with him, and also that I found him on other forums scamming other people. They requested a tracking number for the item and he actually submitted one!!! But tracking number said item was never dropped off..GOOD LUCK!

 

The guy only has 3 posts..... was he PMing you in response to your WTB threads? That's one red flag. Another red flag is '420' in his username. Anyone who feels the need to announce 'IT'S TIME TO SMOKE UP' in their username probably isn't a stable guy to do business with
