I agree 100% with the doc and rotary?cool and feel that rotary?cool should get his money back. Dont tarnish your rep. anymore then this, from what I've heard you've been a good seller..should keep it that way.

Wow man, sounds like you got screwed. I have done business with Rotary?Cool on a couple of different occasions. He paid quickly, I shipped just as quickly, we were both very happy. I however shipped him what we had discussed. Sorry your going through all this crap man. This sortof thing is what scares me as well. It makes it harder for people like you to trust someone like me when it comes time to sell parts. Kinda sucks. I bet you feel just like this.....

Thats the catch....

I will GLADLY refund his money for the tape and accept it back HOWEVER.. that was not an option the option I was givin was to send him the 2" tape at no extra cost then he will ship the 1" tape back.. when I told him no on that then he wanted a full refund of both items (even though othing was wrong with the gasket.


If he wants a refund on JUST the tape and then he send the tape back that is fine I would GLADLY do that however he would not hear of such opions (atleast this is how I felt)

If there is EVER a misunderstanding (like with Tim) I will refund the money for the part and GLADLY accept it back... however I wont be out any extra money out of pocket to send something that cost more then what I sold this for.. and I wont return a non defective item or another item part of a transaction just because the guy is mad..

Again I will GLADLY take the part back in question and refund his money at which time I would just ask he sends the wrap back to me ASAP and just use a cheap carrier with a tracking/delivery confirmation number and send that to me when he does.

You're just not getting this.

1--you advertise one product--2" tape--for sale at $55. Buyer agrees to buy it.

2--you and buyer agree that 125 plus shipping will be payment in full for the items you advertised.

3--Buyer pays you that amount, thinking that you are now paid in full.

4--you then send him an invoice, on which you have changed the order he made.....AFTER he paid you in full for what he originally asked for.

Thats the problem right there--you agreed to sell him one thing and then tried to get away with shipping him something entirely different. YOU took his money, the amount YOU told him was payment in full, and then YOU tried to claim he ordered something you didnt even advertise to begin with! Sorry, no dice. You advertised 2" wrap, at that price, and you and he agreed to that price.

Handle your business and do what's right.

Guys I have already sent his refund to him! and I like how you say PRIOR MISTAKES... this has only happened one other time and BOTH of these matters have been fixed with a simple refund and apology!

it should not take two pages of anything in this case to get you to admit a mistake and fix it. Thats the point. Your last thought was that you did nothing wrong, even though the error is that obvious. Please consider this seriously before continuing to sell parts to people.

ACTUALLY I KNOW I did nothing wrong the problem is I would have offered to refund him his money for the wrong part.. however that was not an option at the current time. Otherwise the refund would have been automatic.

First, you claimed that you sent him what he ordered. Then you admitted it was the wrong part. That's one thing.

Second, you tried to push responsibility for your bait and switch onto the buyer, claiming that it is his responsibility to make sure you didnt screw up his order, when in fact that is the seller's responsibility, as in yours.



Your whole dishonest approach when first confronted about this is at best very questionable. You didnt even advertise the 1" product, yet you expect everyone to believe that you sent that to him in good faith?

But you must be right, there's nothing wrong in those actions, I suppose...
