I bought a fuel tank from him on feb 13th, send him the money via paypal last time he replied to my Pm was the 15th after i sent the money, saying he was going to ship it out probably monday and let me know. Tuesday or weds rolls around and i pm him again asking if its been shipped, no reply. So i pm him on friday night and ask for a status update, again no reply. I do not know what is going on, but i wasnt asking for much, just an update. I know he has been online, why he has not replied to messages I do not know. Where this leads is up to him, i have already pmd a Mod about the issue.

 

Yeah I was having that problem with him for a while. Hes just kinda slow to get back. I bought a fender and a door from him. I received the fender and still awaiting the door. I pm'ed him and he told me the door was in the middle of transit but thats been like a month that this thing has been sitting in "transit" so I am still waiting. He seems straight forward with me just takes him a little while to get back to his pms. Okay maybe a long while but still.

Oh and I had bought these two items before Christmas. Like in November maybe? And I received the fender in Jan. Still waiting on the door......

 

Well, that slow of service is totally unacceptable. Did you receive a tracking number for the door?

 

Nah he never gave me a tracking number. Said he was going to provide it but never did. Dunno exactly what all is going on. I tend to email him every 2-3 weeks to see wtf is going on. Is very aggravating that the door has not come in yet and not knowing what or where it is.

This is why and how other members wind up having problems with these type of sellers.

 

i only found good reports on him, if i had known about the door i would of never bought the gas tank from him.

 

I did not say it was acceptable. It pisses me off. But I do also have faith that it will come in. What he had told me makes me believe that it IS coming just unexpectedly ran into trouble midway here. I guess I shoulda also added that he sent the door later then the fender because he was pulling the dings out of the door so the door would be ready for me to slap on since he knows I want to put the car into paint ASAP.

 

he said he had lots of good references and i did see a couple so i sent a 30 dollar money order for some supposedly really clean tails. AFTER he gets the money he tells me the tails arent as clean as he thought so he would send me my money right back if i wanted. it was supposed to be here yesterday he promised. whats really classic is that he also said he has no hard feelings and hopes we can do more business in the future. he needs to stop playing and send me my goddam money back.

 

Hey guys I talked to him today. Everything seems in order just give it a little bit more time. My door should be here by the end of the week as long as everything works out. razorback I told him to pm you. We had talked about the fuel tank briefly so hopefully he gets back to you and lets you know what the deal is.

 

he replied to one of my messages, he said he will ship it out tomorrow via fedex, but i will see it when i believe it.

 

I told him to supply you guys with tracking numbers. Make sure that this is done please.

 

Progress is in the works for everybody's sake. The tank will arrive 2/26. The door most likely Friday, hindered only by the weight, And the money for the tails is in transit. Went by snail mail. No tracking number. I have sold parts to dozens of people on this board. So I guess this means square one once again.

 

You'll reach square one when they get their parts...not a moment before then.

With Snail mail you can pay $0.45 to get "delivery confirmation" which provides you with location and day of delivery. You may want to consider using that service in the future.

Ok i will admit i was skeptical, but he did in fact send the tank fedex overnight priority, which i am sure cost more than i paid for the tank. i got it about 30 mins ago, and it looks really good (no rust inside, etc) i am canceling my paypal complaint.

the best advice i can give to anyone selling anything, is good communication.

 

Yeah he provided me with my tracking number yesterday or today?? Any who dude was cool the whole time and I never got upset over it. I had other things to worry about then the door getting here. I would still do business with him again.

 

Door came in today. More then I was expecting to get with the door. Very happy with the outcome. Will definitely do business with him again! Hope yours goes as well razorback.
