Well I bought a complete 99" spec front with extras from this guy almost two months ago. Now since I live in Norway I do expect shipping to take its sweet time. But after not getting any thing after 5 weeks I told the seller he had to get me the tracking nr or I would take action thru pay pal. He told me he would get me the tracking nr the next day. Since then he hasn't answered any mail or his phone or anything else. And since I was stupid enough to wait for that tracking nr, believing he would come through, when I finally registered a complaint with pay pal they tell me I cant get any kind of refund since it took more than 45 day from the transaction to me lodging a complaint. So now it looks like that bastard got away with close to 2000$ and probably sold the whole front to someone else.

I really don’t know what to do next. If someone has another email address for this guy other than his pay pal address or another nr than the one on he has putt up on this site I would greatly appreciate it.

 

well it seems V8killer23 has sold the 99 bumper to SPEED_NYC. The bastard. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations on how to get my money back.

im sorry to hear this man. i posted that the bumper was sold to me the night i picked it up from him in the thread so that all would see he no longer had it for sale.

the guy did seem a lil shady to me when i was dealking with him. ill post details on that later im late for a meeting.

Ok so i found V8killer23 or Michael Browns Nr through that link Rich posted. Called him up and talked to him. He claimed it was Shane Willis who were supposed to ship the parts. So basically he said he had let Shane use his profile and his Pay pal. And that he in turn got screwed over by Shane. Either way he is a complete idiot. I gave him a deadline over the weekend to either send me a tracking nr for the part or refund the money.

Now if i don't get the Money or the refund what would be the best way to take legal action against him? I really don't want to travel to Ma and wring the money out of him.

 

here's an FYI for everyone--Shane Willis, if it is the same one, is a well known scammer on this forum. A Very well known scammer. There used to be a sticky on him if I recall, before the recent cleanup of threads occurred.

 

A Judge won't buy that for a minute. Mike is responsible for that thread, the usage of his profile and definitely his paypal account. Mike, do you want to go to prison for this person Shane Willis?

I doubt that you would give him the password for your paypal account. Which means that you would of had to go in and transfer the money to your bank account or send a payment to Shane Willis. So when the authorities go to your paypal account they will see the real story as to what has happened. I would recommend that you get a refund back to Rol. At least this will be taken into consideration when you are facing a Judge.

Mike, How was it that this person Shane Willis was supposed to ship the parts. You already had sold them, so how was he going to ship something that you already knew no longer existed?

 

I was so close to buying that entire front end from him as well a few months back.. seems i dodged a bullet. He did seem a little shady from posts/our phone convo but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt.. however he raised the price from his original post and wouldn't budge on it so i passed...

Not received any part yet or a refund. I have filled a complaint with IC3.gov will wait and see what happens. Michael Brown hasn't answered any of my e-mails or my calls, and removed most of the info from his profile.

Seems very shady that he was selling a 99' front bumper (to speed NYC) at the same time that "Shane Willis" is selling the same part....on the same Member account. It would seem to me that if this were true, there would be TWO separate ads for the same part (99 bumper) under the one screen name....maybe I'm wrong.

 

Shane Willis=Michael Brown=Scammer.
