Well it's currently got a 4k bid on it, and while that's far below your "Buy It Now" price, since you're in very desperate times, I'd recommend letting it go for whatever the highest bid is anyway.
4k would allow you to pay back myself, Sam, and have 2k left over for you to buy pain meds, pay bills, get your internet hooked up, and have groceries for a little while. Certainly enough time to get you back on your feet. Yes it's a loss, but it's better than me taking your *** to court
Think about it.

If it was an ebay thread then a mod caught it and deleted it since they are against the rules.
If you just post up an ad with the buy it now price with no reference to ebay then you would have more exposure but you know how well selling vehicles on this club goes.
You can get AOL dial up for $9.99 a month. Not the best but at least it's access.

Or if you've got any comp with wireless you can see if your neighbors have wireless 'net... or find an internet cafe, or go to the library... Or if you have a laptop, there are places where free wifi hotspots are available, and places where you can drive around and find a "free" hotspot.
Not that you should use your neighbor's wifi or a "free" one by driving around, that may not be allowed by your local rules/laws, but it's *possible*
And yeah, e-bay threads get nuked, but "I wanna sell my truck, here are pics and the price I'm asking" threads work fine.
Jon
Edit: There are also friends... if you've got friends they may have the interweb

Why do you think this thread was created? You are just bringing in more negative attention to a matter that is trying to be resolved.

Agreed with above, but I see also that maybe he's backing his buddy or at least a fellow canuck. Its a bit late to voice an opinion on the matter in this manner since the other party has responded positively. However 84stock if you're gonna go changing your sig at least use proper grammar and put an apostrophe after Vipernicus!
Its not easy for any man to face the music and publicly admit that they're in the wrong, regardless of their reasons behind it. Trochoid has done that here and also seems to be making efforts to remedy the situation. Things are moving in the right direction and any further ridicule really doesn't serve any meaningful purpose here, unless there is no follow through on his part. While I completely understand that Vipernicus won't be satisfied until he is paid up (and even then he has every right to remain bitter after the fact), 3rd parties chiming in negatively has no place in this thread.

I don't mean to knock trochoid for "trying" but talk is cheap, and I had plenty of his talk for well over a year.
Until I see some money in my paypal account, I won't consider him to be "trying to make things right" or "working out the problem"
I appreciate 84stock's support, and I don't think anybody should knock him for it. It does serve the purpose of making sure that people know about this, which is a hard thing to do when someone has such a well built reputation for being helpful and tech-knowledgeable.
Not a single penny has come back my way and the only evidence I have that he *might* be doing something is that post saying he's "looking for other options"
The ebay posting was a nice gesture. It didn't sell, that sucks for trochoid, but it doesn't change the situation. He could have sold it for the $6k that was offered, which is actually probably closer to what an 8-yr old cube van is worth than the $15k buy-it-now it had, but I'm no expert. He chose not to do that, so I'm still standing here waiting for some sort of continuance.
In fairness, he PMed me a few days ago saying he is looking into cashing in something, but again, talk is cheap.

Jon, i hope everything works out between you and scott. i've been following this thread for some time now and havent posted because its really none of my business. but i wanted to say that i hope scott is able to rectify the situation and this can be put behind you guys and the community here. its tough seeing drama between senior members. this situation is reflected in the 1st gen forum as you may well know, as scott hasn't been his usual helpful and postful self. i wish you both luck on the matter and try to stay as positive as you guys can.
