This guy sold me a FD with a blown ebay turbo and a cracked exhaust manifold, it was noted by the place that rebuilt his motor but he decided to leave out that vital piece of information.

Here is what I left on the thread.

"Worst seller in the world.

Seller forgot to mention that the ebay turbo is blown, the ebay exhaust manifold has leaks, the turbo exhaust housing isnt a good place to leave the 02 sensor wire connector (Melted on). The body is not in mint shape nor the interior. ECU is NOT tuned for the car either and smokes like a mother ******* chimney because the turbo is shot and its not tuned.

Apparently he had lots of problems with this car.....but I will say this. I do not know what issues you have with the body and interior, but the pics he posted in the FS thread do not at all show "mint" in either of those, even though he claimed it to be the case. Unless there is an issue you have with something that isnt shown in the pics he posted, I would say that the photos were enough to tell the true tale there. I also found a thread from back in January 2012 where he was asking about being able to swap the microtech for Power FC. He got no replies. No doubt he would have known of such severe issues as not being tuned, smoking, etc etc. He just bought this car in September or so of last year. Then he dumps $6K unexpectedly into the motor. And then he's selling it so quickly. He knew what was going on.

 

I called the place that he said rebuilt the motor and said Neil had brought the car to them and there was no compression and the motor was shot, it was then replaced with a rebuilt motor by T and R racing, I talked to them for about 25 minutes going over the details about the car and asked him to pull up the receipts for the car and he had noted on there that the no name ebay turbo was bad and the no name ebay exhaust manifold needed to be changed.

He clearly stated car was in great mechanical condition. Also states there are 1600cc primarys when infact they are actually 1600cc secondarys.

He had told me car was tuned after it was swapped with the PFC. When I dug into the PFC a bit I realized the primarys were still set at 550cc and the seconarys 850cc which leads me to believe he just threw it in there. Also confirmed by T and R racing that they wouldnt touch the car anymore until he got the turbo and manifold replaced.

I guess this is what I get for having such good sales and buys on Rx7.club for 7 years I was bound to get fucked after a while.

I'm going to do some digging on this one. Let me see what I can turn up before you do anything with lawyers.....and welcome home. I know what its like to be downrange....thanks man for what you do.....even if you fell into the Army trap of taking those ridiculous glamour photos with your rifle hahaha
