yeah, i bought an engine from this guy that was "rebuilt with 1200 miles runs" and i get it, i fill it with oil and try to start it....nothing, he blames it on my ecu, i go get some starter fluid and finally get it started....it runs like complete ***!!, i then decide to throw some water in the cooling system to see if i can clean up the tune slightly as "the motor is good"

motor is completely shot!!!!!

the center iron was cracked on the inside, and the water and oil were mixed, and it was leaking oil out of the front cover.....completely fucked!!!

here is what i got back from the engine builders as well

"Neither of the S5 rotors are re-usable. One has damage cause by the bearing spun in it, and the other has multiple scoring and gouges caused by apex seal failure as well as evidence of detonation."

also turns out the irons are from an S4

so all in all this guy is a crook and should not be dealt with, he even had the nerve to pm me saying that the motor was all good and nothing was wrong with it and tried defending himself, i have pics to back up everything here as well so this isn't just a grudge post!!! this is the only knowlage i have of the guy!

 

That sucks dude! Bad people are everywhere these days... I may have a good used S5 engine for sale here in a few weeks if you can't do anything with what you got.
