He had a tial BOV and wastegate up for sale a month ago. I told him i would take the BOV and sent payment. He would not send a tracking number, respond to my PMs, or emails after the transaction was complete.

Did you pay with Paypal? Use a credit card? If you used Paypal, try to file a dispute (if not too late). If you used a credit card, you could also make a claim through the credit card company. Good luck.

 

i posted that he/she was a fake in the xbox thread...i reversed my paypal about a year ago on an xbox they were selling

i posted a bad seller on this person but the mods deleted it when they "cleaned" things up

We need to see the exact date that you paid for this and how it was paid for. The last time your send a pm or email to this person concerning this also.

His last message to me was on 12/21/07 in response to me asking AGAIN for a tracking number...it read...

"ok im going to check when i get to work."

he was on the boards 2 days after that and never logged on after that

 

BTW i sent payment the 13th of Dec.

This is exactly the problem with "cleaning up" this particular forum. To "clean up" bad guy threads makes absolutly no sense what so ever and said practice should be stopped immediately. Clean up the rest of the forums all you guys want, but leave the friggin' bad guys section alone.

 

they dont mess with it anymore. it wasnt one persons fault as i think the changover caused the missing threads.

I believe my understanding of the thread cleanup was this (and I am not happy about the deleting of the gg/bg stuff but can see what happened)

They were cleaning up threads mainly was just the forsale section. Problem was, the classifieds used to be the parent section with the gg/bg section being a child to the classifieds so it got hit also. This was probley just an oversight when the cleanup was initiated by someone who didn't realize that section would get hit also.

Good news is, with the new layout of the classified, gg/bg sections that should not ever happen again of course that doesn't help the countless bad guy posts that are now gone.

If that is the case then that sounds completely acceptable . I guess that the announcement just shows up in every forum. It would be nice if someone that actually knows the answer would chime in and put a stop to these types of posts.....

My paypal dispute was decided in my favor....amount that was recovered $0.00.

yes...he took the money out. i reversed the paypal 5 minutes after because i felt weird about him,
