Angry Ripped off by NEUKIN

Hey ladies and gents I've been more than patient with this individual and I'm dropping down to Internet slander, I ordered a v-mount kit form 1300.00 cdn on aug 31, 2010!!!! I keep getting the run around always putting my project on the back burner to kick out other orders first I get it it's a business in a rough economy but you would think good business practices would make you keep your customers happy! I really don't want my rx7 sitting another season... And I really don't want anyone else too go through this... So I'm putting this thread out there help me out guys !
Thank you in advance
Chris

Must be the order of the day mate, I've just posted a few topics on a forum vendor giving me the run around.

It's just laziness and bad business ethics.

Hi Chris!

I understand your frustration but there is a Good Guy/Bad Guy Section where this should be posted (and will probably be moved to).

$1,300?? - I could have put together a pretty decent kit for $700 shipped. That would even include the BOV.

That's horrible news. When I was vmount shopping, I thought about neukin, but passed due to lack of information/pics of the kit. They never responded to my email later.

I ended up going with RotaryWorks, which was an epic fail. I recommend you get a refund from neukin if it's been that long. I'd go with the rotary extreme kit or make a custom one.

as with most anything, don't pay in full up front if they have to "build" the kit for you. sorry for your headache, hopefully you get a full refund.

how did you pay and please tell me you saved the emails. Always Always save any emails when you purchase anything online till you at least get the product and test it.

if you purchased it that long ago and have the emails and **** i would think you would have no problem with a claim.

Thanks Chris for your order, we build these to order and i already have your intercooler core and radiator core on*the*way... im finishing another one for another customer right now so it will be pretty fast and helps me out. I tried to call on of my drivers to get that ground*clearance*info but didnt get ahold of, sorry to not get back to you as fast as i thought on that info. I assure you its pretty good diven we do both road race n drift with the car and never had a issue. midohio has alot of those race bumps around the*edges*of their track.

Yes uses stock cooler, has mounts on the rad bracket we supply.

There is no shroud, there is room back there but we just use two 10" fans from slimfan.com they are about 1150cfm but we have no cooling problems on the FC *NONE! * *We drift (includes sitting in staging) *and road race the car with our turbo manifold, a precision 46mm wastegate and PT6765 billet wheel turbo. Fans we mount on the top of the rad which is the hot half since its a dual pass.

Just a couple questions and if I like the answer I will order the product immediatly, first how far off the ground is the rad? Is it higher than where the stock undertray was? Also is it possible for you guys too build a dual wastegate version of your manifold? Is it possible to retain stock oil cooler? If not do you have a kit to relocate after market one? What brand of electric fans are they and do you include a shroud if not would it be possible to add one? *I appreciate any answers thank you

Hi there,

Once again its been a while since our last communication, you had said you would provide pictures of the order, and still have not, I now see that you don't neccasarily have a good reputation and im very concerned that my money has not gone into my order, or that my order isnt coming, i realise you said you were modifying the kit, but you didn't ask if i wanted it modified, initially you also said this kit would be completed quickly as you were working on another one at the same time, its now been over 3 months and there is nothing to show for it, could you please atleast send pictures and give me a delivery date, i do not want to have to take this furthur

thank you

Yes iv been very behind with turbo manifolds and i have 4 of these vmounts to ship im*knocking*them all out right now. I wish i could have taken better care of you, this is more then*ridiculous... I made that mod so the intercooler is closer to the motor and you dont have to cut the stock hood latch or upper radiator support.. then i just have to finish making the new louver and writing the*dimensions*down so you guys know where to cut... I will ship this month no matter what.. feel free to email as much as you like to keep on me, once a day whatever it doesnt matter.

Thanks

The next emails have a confidentiality notice on the bottom so I probably shouldn't post them but there were several emails in between looking for updates and no replies I figure it redundant to keep pasting all of them

Here are more recent ones without confidentiality notices

Ya its been stupid here, I have these vmount kit parts here so i already spent the funds trying to bust your kit out quickly but was overwhelmed so its just got set back. Iv just had to finish manifold orders as they came in as those keep us open and alive. If i dont ship those fast then the guys file chargebacks and we loose payments and end up closing shop.. im trying to take care of everything asap trust me i dont want this weight on me anymore.

Please reply.... Been more than a few weeks again!!!!! I know for fact that your working on stuff that was ordered after me

And I filed a complaint with the BBB, so I'm waiting on response for that, knowing now that he has 5 other non deliverance issues according too BBB and fails to submit paperwork to them his company receives an F rating just so you are all aware, but apparently he kicks out manifolds...
Sorry this is lengthy thanks in advance for reading, I wish I woulda saved my money and went with Ben from extreme

why not post in the regional forum? there has to be someone who lives nearby neukin who can visit their shop in person.

getting a fire under their *** is much cheaper than them moving their shop to rip someone off of $1400.

Already have posted in the local fort Wayne rx7 group next step is too take it to Honda/Nissan forums where he actually gets a lot of business from, I don't want to ruin him tho I just want my product, I'd be happy to get thread deleted once I'm satisfied, I gave him an ultimatum somewhat for January 20 2011 so if I get nothing I'll be going all out I work a 7 days on 7 days off rotation and I haven't much else to do on my days off if you catch my drift

ah ok, and yeah they've had ample time to take care of you but sounds like the money was spent and since you are an out of country customer they possibly thought they could bend you over. keep at it and let everyone know til their potential customers hear about it and they see the ramifications of what sitting on someone else's money for 1.5 years does.

Youre being too nice again.

You need to go onto that other forum and ask him point blank why he is not responding to you and why you are still waiting. The problem in deals like yours is this--he has your money, so he no longer worries about keeping you waiting. He is giving those guys on the other forum his attention because he's getting new money from them. You need to do this for several reasons--

1--other people deserve to know what they could be in for by spending money with him.
2--if you do not go on the offensive, you may as well just chalk your $1300 up as a donation because you wont ever see it again.
3--if other people over there see what he has done, they will also likely pressure him to get his butt in gear. If you hit him where his money is coming from, he is far more likely to do something about it.

Do not wait on this one, if anyone on this forum knows what they are talking about when it comes to deals like this it is me. Trust me, he knows you wont do much because you are "too nice". I'm not saying to go over there, insult his mama, and blast him a new smoking hole, but you NEED to do this if you want this resolved.

Well, joined Honda tech, more research dicates he is defiantly a repeat offender, there is one guy waited 3 years... Pm'd to see if he ever got his product, also trying to post 5 times and have to wait 15 days to post a thread, a couple threads listed in Honda tech about neukin being fraud, but there closed so couldn't post on them
