Ripped off by Fc3s_d1jp!!!
Bought a power steering pump and lines from this guy about a month ago and have received nothing. His for sale thread is here:

I've tried emailing him as well as numerous PMs and have heard nothing. Has anyone heard anything? Would not recommend buying from him.

It really is sad thats some one has to do is to a hard working person , ppl must be really desperate but it still not an excuse to do such a thing ! Best of luck on resolving the problem .
is it me or is this starting to become more common these last couple of months

You hit it on the head sprockett. I wish there was some way I could get an address or phone number for this guy. What made his scam more believable than others was that he had pictures of the parts he was selling.
I usually only deal locally due to being ripped off before...
be patient and things usually become available locally. also if someone seems desperate, I avoid dealing with them except in person... alot of people bite off more than they can chew and if they are in trouble they are certainly concerned about themselves first.. not some dude sending e-mails.

There's more to it than just that. Lots of times people will just send you pictures they find themselves on the internet or from searchin' on this forum.
I actually have a pretty solid checklist that I use for determining which members or people in general I will or won't buy off of. I've thought about posting it up for everyone, but the problem I foresaw was that the scammers could use it as a tool as well. If I help the members, I help the scammers. Doesn't seem like the best plan to me
