As I've said time and again in this thread as well as the facebook messages sent yesterday and today, a simple PM or phone call (you have had my number for quite some time now) only takes a few minutes, especially when you KNOW someone is expecting something from you.

Also, you have been on the forum as recently as the 11th of this month. Alex Rodriguez sent you a PM on the 9th. That means you would have received his PM and realized that there was a major problem. Maybe you missed his PMs AND mine when you logged on.

As for getting me my tracking number, I am posting here for all to see that I would like you to post the number in this thread AS WELL AS CALLING ME TONIGHT OR FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING. I don't care what time it is, I really want to receive that call.

I haven't logged on for a while, you can ask any mod and my last log in wasn't since early last week so I just saw everything today. But either way, I'm sorry it has come to this and timing was just against me for the most part. I feel obligated to make it up to you in some way so perhaps a partial refund of $50 or perhaps a big discount on a future order that I will not ask money for until it has arrived at your door?

I hope you and all of the members on here understand my situation and clear any misleading thoughts about my business transactions.

I agree...Karack, I am going to have to ask you to take a step back from these threads a bit. Leave this stuff to those of us that are here to handle it. I appreciate your willingness to help a fellow forum member, but you are taking your responses a bit too far. The moderators have already become involved here and have already been working to get a resolution. It would really help if you would sit back and let us handle our business. Especially with the way it came off in the west section thread. Leave this one alone....it is being handled.

As for FC_EDDIE, you are not to sell one more part on this forum to anyone, by any means, until this is resolved. If I get word of anything sold to anyone that you have not already collected money for, you will be booted from the forum. We take this kind of thing VERY seriously....and if you had time to be on facebook yesterday talking about ANYTHING, you had time to get online and drop an update in your buyer's email or inbox. What are we to make about the fact that you did not do that? A death in the family didnt keep you from talking about "its 7:30am and I am just getting home, great night" and "lazy day today, I am watching my third movie"....so why the hell should it have kept you from talking to your buyer or shipping out those rims?

Fix this. NOW.

 

I just got a text message (thought it was supposed to be a call, but it's something, right?) from Eddie. He's telling me that his girlfriend never made it to UPS. Due to that, he drove to get them from her work and now they are SUPPOSED to ship from his place of business. Around NOON his time.

Ok, so now he is missing his self imposed deadline of tomorrow morning. Another interesting point is also raised. If he can ship them from his shop tomorrow, why the hell couldn't they be shipped out from there in the first place and simply avoid adding a middleman?

Better yet, if he had to go get them from her, HE HAD THEM IN HIS POSSESSION. Why not drop them off at UPS yourself? If you were really interested in settling this, why not get them out yourself so you know they're shipped? I asked him that via text but then he stopped responding.

I just don't get it. I really really don't.

Now I won't know anything until AT LEAST 3 pm my time, and I know Eddie isn't going to be sitting there waiting to send me another text as soon as it goes out. What's the NEW deadline? I now have to wait until one guy hopefully gets the wheels shipped out and then he has to get in touch with Eddie who then has to take time from his busy schedule to message me. Impatient? Damned right I am. This is becoming comical in it's foolishness. Except that it's happening to me.

Eddie, how's about you change your profile back so everyone can see the pics you put up on your facebook page on 2/4-2/5? You told your buyer that as of 2/2, "the lady called, the rims were not packaged well enough so I had to fix it". But the facebook page showed photos that you took AFTER that date, showing the rims still on your car?!? Am I seeing things here?? Or did you just get caught by a swift kick in the stones due to your own stupidity?

It's funny, you DID talk about places to go and things to do on your FB page, but you NEVER mentioned any death in the family. In fact, you seem to have had yourself a pretty good time this past weekend, while at the same time youre telling us here some sob story about how "someone you loved very much just died". Why should we believe you? First, you get caught lying about it, and then you yank access to your wall and photos on FB so no one can catch you? Luckily for you, I have these pics safe and sound....do you want to come clean, or should I just post them here? Funny.....you had a "death in the family".....but at the same time that you claim here you were tied up with stuff and had to pay for the funeral out of your own pocket, you were going to work, heading home to shine up your car, going to a photoshoot, heading out to "eclectic thursdays" at Skinny's lounge....And tell us all about the "new kicks" that are gonna be "old school for Rocky" that, as of 2/7 you were still waiting on. For someone that has a funeral to pay for and a loved one to mourn, you are working, hitting up the clubs, and droppin the cheddar on your ride like nothing's happening. So why dont you come in here and come clean?

February 4, at 8:02PM, Eddie posted on his FB wall, "time to clock out and rush home to clean up Rocky(his FC) so we can hit this photoshoot....busy busy BUSY!!!!!!!!" The photoshoot?? He posted it up in more recent posts on his FB wall, on February 5. The car still had the same rims on it that he posted for sale, and that 20B bought. So, whats with all the lying, Eddie?

This is the kind of stuff that gets me kicking people off this forum. Do you want to make this right, or will the LAPD office in Mission Hills need to be called? Seeing how he paid you more than $500 for these wheels, you are now in grand larceny territory. Do you think you'll like jail? Man, it sure would suck if you had to sell "Rocky II" to make bail....

 

Reese I didn't stop replying...I was driving around for my work which happens to be 3 minutes from the shop. I had them in my possession for a whopping 25 minutes.

I left work for a bit to grab them from her and went back to work. When I got out I headed straight to the shop to drop them off as I had been talking to my buddy about his helping me send them as I probably wouldn't be out of work early enough to do it in the morning. As I explained...I didn't give them to him in the first place cause he isnt always there but he's pulling this favor for me now. I told you they'd go out no later than tomorrow if it wasn't done today. They are already in the pickup bin for the first pickup tomorrow which should be about 10am PST...so 1 pm or the second which is 12 noon PST or 3 pm Eastern time. This isn't a game to me. I didn't ask for our family's misfortune.

I will post the tracking numbers all over this forum tomorrow and I will pm You and post on Facebook too so that we can all follow together. Stay tuned...

 

I need to post that a family member has passed on my Facebook? Ask anyone that knows me...it is true. I did purchase new wheels, I did do a photoshoot...this is something that is out so I'll come clean. When I unwrapped the wheels I figured I'd use them once more since it was a once in a lifetime deal that WAS my stupidity and I will admit it but they were off the next day. I did have to pay for funeral arrangements and other things. I'm sorry that I wasn't walking arround like a zombie crying my eyes out but I tend to block those events out by keeping busy with cars, friends And work. I'm sorry but I dont know what eclectic Thursday is....I haven't been to a club in years. This is true. Why would I go to jail? For $800??? I work my *** off over 50 hrs a week and dont need to rip anyone off.

 

So, let me get this straight....

You LIED about the times when you claimed that the rims were "ready to ship" because you still had them on your car. You promised him AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT TIMES that they were "packaged, ready to ship" and all the while they were STILL ON YOUR DAMN CAR.

Not to mention, there were not one, but TWO pics on your FB page, from different dates, that still showed the rims on the car. On 2/4, you had the photoshoot. On 2/7 you posted a pic of the back of your car. In BOTH shots, the rims were still on. Not only that, but you admit you bought new rims....by your own words, as of 2/7 the new ones did not arrive yet. So, I guess you've been driving your car on imaginary tires?

Look man, this crap has to stop and I mean NOW. First, the UPS lady had your rims, then you did, then you were taking them back to the shipping place. Then your girl was gonna do it. Then a buddy of yours was gonna do it. AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN DONE. Dont sit there and act like I am out of line--YOUR LIES have made the issue what it is right now!

You were SO BUSY on 2/13 that you wrote "lazy day, on my third movie". You sat on your *** by your own admission and watched the boob tube all damn day! And NOW you say "Ive been kept so busy"?? So, when Tessa Rose invited you to go to that club on 2/3, you asked if you could bring people with you....and now, you claim you dont even know what that is? I dont live out there, and just by reading your page I get the idea....you not only read it, but replied to your friend and asked if you could bring people along....so there is NO WAY that we're gonna believe you dont know what I am talking about.

First off, you keep saying "$800". This is not an $800 deal. This was a $1000 deal. Dont forget the badges that you agreed to take in lieu of $200. You still have those, no? As for jail, in your state, if a person takes $500 or more either by theft or by fraud, it becomes grand larceny, also known as grand theft. And whether you realize it or not, you have committed fraud here. ANYTIME you lie about the status of a transaction like this, you are committing fraud. And I have all the proof I need saved to a flickr account. So, LAST CHANCE. There had damn well better be a VALID tracking number provided for these four rims and everything that was to come with them TOMORROW by 5:00 PM your time, or we're making a phone call. You have had PLENTY of time, MORE THAN A COUPLE of chances and NOTHING BUT EXCUSES. And you wonder why you have no credibility?? You admit lying to us! And I GUARANTEE you that you only came clean about it because you got caught.

 

So because I posted pictures of my car on certain dates the Wheels were still on the car? Gotcha. So if I upload a picture of the car with those wheels once Reese has them I'm still lying? I have hundreds of pictures of my car that I haven't posted and guess what...the wheels will still be on it. Long after Reese is enjoying them.



Just because a friend posted something about a club doesn't mean I went...especially on a Thursday when I'm up at 5:30 in the morning for work everyday. I wouldn't do that to myself.

I contacted Reese about. Compensation for borrowing his wheels for the photoshoot and will be ready to come to an agreement with him. I'll just leave it at that and will post tracking numbers tomorrow.

 

So, hang on a second....you already admitted lying about the rims being packaged up and ready to ship. You already admitted to lying--you admitted that while you claimed they were off the car and ready to ship, that you still had them on the car. So why are you now trying to defend this same position? That only serves to make you look even more dishonest at this point.

So I guess the part on facebook where you admitted to staying out all night, just getting home at 7:30 in the morning, and calling it a "great night", that must also be something that I made up, am I right???

While youre at it, you can tell us all why you claimed that you were not on the forum at all after the 7th, but then I heard from a forum member tonight that had inquired into one of your FS ads. I was told that you sent him a PM on 2/11 on this forum.

See, Eddie, here's the problem I am having right now with you. Every time you post, we see more things being proven to be lies. One has to ask, if youre willing to lie about these details, what else are you willing to lie about? The really sad part is that you havent even yet realized that you could have avoided all this nonsense if only you had kept your buyer informed instead of being dishonest and leaving him hanging.

To RxRoller: I understand your position as a mod and I respect it 100% but it seems as though your intervention as has done absolutely nothing to help expedite the process. I understand the need to voice your authority but in reality all you've really done is add fuel to the fire and disrespect me and my family worst of all. We (Reese and I) had already come to an agreement before you stepped in. I dont even see why you did to be honest cause all was going smoothly. Now, obviously, the cat's out of the bag....I did take advantage of Reese in more way than one and I will admittedly and openly confess to it as such:

The wheels were wrapped up for shipping, I was told to make it better by UPS so to avoid any damages to them. In having them back out of the wrapping, I took advantage and slapped them back on my car for the shoot. Stupidity, I know and for this I will compensate Reese as they were no longer technically my wheels. If you would have taken your time to spy on my Facebook page, you would have also seen an update about how my FC would be rocking XXR wheels for a while and while the AW7s were off, I had my stock GXL wheels on there but I guess I need to update my status on that as well so everyone knows what happens in my life every second. I dont know about you but I wouldnt get caught dead uploading pictures of a car that looks like mine with XXRs or stock wheels.

The fact that you are making my family business something of a joke is really cruel and disrespectful. I assume you'd like to see pictures of the deceased? If this will remove all doubt, I'd be happy to send you a picture of him but please refrain from making this issue something you want to continue to talk about. This thread is about a business deal, not about you wanting proof about a dead family member! God damn you make my stomach hurt Mod! Show some God Damned sympathy.

Like I said, we had something worked out but you decide to step in for no reason. Please give me the time frame I specified to get tracking numbers up. if I dont follow through then I'd expect you to step forth and take criminal actions. I agree with you but you can send a text out or something. I'm really sorry for what happened but texting takes seconds. I don't think people realize why transactions go bad. For me, its more the lack of communication rather than how long something takes to ship out. Although not as bad as family problems, being taken advantage of for any amount of money can feel pretty bad. 1k for one guy can mean alot more than 1k for another. I mean if you could spend seconds to reassure the guy and prevent him from being upset and wondering what was going on, why not do it.

 

I totally agree that I failed horribly in any kind of communication. A text would have been sufficient but I didnt even do that and this is why I'm apologizing sincerely to Reese and I have and will continue to do so until I feel better about my horrible transaction.

I really dont mean to scam anyone. I make enough money to not even consider doing it and I strongly believe in karma and it can be a real bitch. I'm paying the price and do regret being an idiot but hey I see it as something that will soon be behind me and I can go about life as usual but for now, I need to get it all straightened out.

I agree that $1K can be just a number to some but to others, its nearly impossible to think of $1K being stolen as money isnt really flowing through our wonderful economy. Trust me I wouldnt risk thousands in potential business for $1K now...I'd much rather work my *** off to make things right.

I got a text message a short while ago from Eddie. He said they went out (albeit on a later pick up) but he is waiting for the tracking number to be sent to him after the guys at the shop finish lunch.

 

i know i was told to stay out but this is just ugly.

UPS gives you a tracking number when you drop off a package, they don't send it to you later... this is why being dishonest makes you look bad and why people doubt that there was any misfortune in the family.

you'll earn alot more respect saying you were waiting on your wheels to arrive and needed Reese's new shoes to roll on in the meantime until they showed up and were ignoring him trying to buy time. for now, i would suggest putting your car on blocks as Reese's is and make good on the deal because he already has. people will still be willing to deal with you if you are honest about delays, even after lying about them. keeping this stance makes your integrity remain questionable. it only takes once in a bad deal for all bad deals to go sour in the future and the real scamming to begin.

not according to himself. everywhere that has been said so far has been him, his girlfriend or coworkers dropping them off to be shipped. after all the BS the last thing i would be doing is having a courier come pick them up, i would hand deliver them to UPS and get a tracking number on the spot and get it to the buyer so that the issue is diffused. LA is not a small county where UPS shipping offices are hard to find.

according to the address given there is a UPS store 2.2 miles from his house and a UPS customer center 3.5 miles away.

If I understood Eddie correctly, the shop the wheels were being picked up from was the shop he is sponsored by, not where he works, which is why the guys at the shop are supposed to call/text/smoke signal him with that number.

I do agree that it should have been dropped of personally when he picked them up yesterday from his girlfriend, but that's my opinion.

He has two more hours to produce the tracking number per roller's directive, so let's just wait.

 

Guess you failed to realize that I mentioned I work 50+ hrs a week and its really hard to drop them off...anyway...
