Pre-Auto should be stopped

This has been said before and should be well known by everyone on this forum. Pre-Auto is a poorly run company that does not deserve your business. I have been lied to numerous times by Chris , starting with ( oh this is classic ) "I just forgot to send it" ...really $1200 sent to Pre Auto immediately , 2 weeks later oh man I forgot. 1 week after that I just ask for a tracking number...nothing. Another week can't get ahold of him. Promises to take some money off..nothing.

I am now asking for my money back we'll see how that goes.

If anyone can tell how I can get my $ thru paypal please tell me

Lastly don't get anything from Pre Auto, if you did and your experience was smooth, you were lucky

PS. I have seen Chris come on here and defend himself, and turn the thread to his side. Forget that this time, he just lies plain and simple.

Ttalked to Chris today, to his credit he is trying to right his wrongs. I care more now about the quality of the peices than the hassle of getting them.

ok so since I spoke to him (which was right before I last posted) I was supposed to get a tracking number. He was going to text it to me as soon as we got off the phone...I just wanted my money back, but he had claimed to ship it out earlier that day. Now 3 days later no teacking number via e-mail, text phone nothing. He also said he would give me a 300$ refund still nothing.

TOO think I was actually cool with him on the phone Monday. I honestly believe I am getting robbed now. I have also filed a dispute with pay pal.

Im in the same boat as you. Been waiting on a couple of light kits that were supposed to have shipped 2 weeks ago and nothing. I dont get any response to my emails and the customers that had the kits on order have now cancelled. This is why I dont carry their lights anymore. Very shady business, plus the quality of the parts is not good.

wow he emailed me back , with a tracking that doesn't F'n work !!!

the quality comment has me scared now, I saved for months to have enough $ to buy a kit and get it painted and installed. Now I just know it will be crappy...and I'll wait another month

btw I ordered your fuel system and It has worked awesome for me

oh hold another e-mail its actually a confirmation number, cannot look it up online or find our where it is but perhaps its a step.

(after many calls and an e-mail everyday he did call me)

I bought a set of his headlights and sent them back the same day, they were garbage. Had to file with Paypal, internet Fraud, and my credit card company to get the money back. It appears he has not changed......

re:

I agree with you guys and everyone her. Pre-auto is a liar and doesn't know how to conduct business. People that I learned to admire and conduct business with are:

1. Steven Osley Rocks
2. Smith Family (Mike is the best person to ever deal with)
3. Rotary Reserruction (Kevin will always be cool)
4. RX7Store.net (Jason always comes through)
5. RX7.com (Ari is the best)
6. Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda is the man
7. Keith at KGParts is very understanding and works with everyone

Those in my book are the best shops that I have ever dealt with

it is cool, I wish more business owners are like them... I think all of us don't mind spending money on our car if we get what we pay for.

I begged him not to ship my bumper, and amazingly when I speak to him he has shipped it the same day.

now he sends me an e-mail saying he doesn't know about a refund ... I go off...he reutrns and lowers the refund from 300 to 200....he'll try to do it by this weekend. WTF is that I'll try??? like I will to take 3mins out of my time to use PAYPAL

Even when my stuff comes in I just know it will be crap. And half his website is dedicated to him protecting his *** from people returning products.

In fact am going to start this process now--- I bought an $1150 kit he claims a now $200 refund...I will send it back to him the day I get it untouched or anything. HOW much money do you all think he will return to me????

Chris told me that Pre-Auto is going out of business now. If what he sent me is crap all he can do now is try to sell it for me. This truly sux, first last and only body kit I wanted to put on my car and the seller is sux. Now to top it off, won't even be in business.

update

I received my bumper, sideskirts 99 lights and no rear flares(had to be something missing). The side skirts and lights were actually nice.

The bumper to noone or my surprise was the worst peice of garbage I have ever seen. It was out of some old school *** fiberglass, that was chipped everywhere. Cracked and repaired, no support to it. mIf you applied the slightest ammount of pressure to it sounded like splitting wood. Now I have to pay to send it back He doesn't have the money to refund me. Not the original $300 he said he would or the $50 he claims on the rear flares. How has he not been stopped before this. He is out of business now so I don't even know how I will get any money back. Anyone want a RE-Amemiya N1 bumper that needs alot of work. Oh yea and it didn't have the two small front vents you could see where they should of been from the mold tho.

IN conclusion Pre-Auto has been stopped , just 1 customer too late for me

I've had the same issues. When describing those issues, my posts in the respective thread were deleted. There are a couple of "higher ups" of the forum that have stood by even though time and time again it's been proven that the quality is a little more than sub par.

That whole debacle (the hoods) I thought were well known enough, but I guess not. Who knows, maybe that whole thread has since been deleted. Kinda pointless to delete things like that....

As soon as I turn up my server again, I'll post those pics...again.

I still don't know what I can do. I know when I send the bumper/dorito back he won;t return my money. He still owes me money now , for the rear flares I paid for but just didn't get sent. We need to get this guy somehow...

Ken at Shine auto must think I am crack head. I got ahold of him on this forum the same night I received my bumper/dorito. I was all kinds of excited to get customer service and omg a tacking number the next day, amazing.

[QUOTE]

I was pretty much the main outspoken person regarding the fucked up hoods. I didn't trust him either so I sent him his hood back COD on his shipping account via BAX. He had to pay before he got his hood back. Yes he has at least one friend on this forum that tried to say how great he was. Goodluck

i agree. PREAUTO = BAD

i've had problems with him in the past:

asking more $$ for the product, after i had paid. ($450 shipped i believe). then he wanted $50 more, AFTER it shipped.

misrepresents the condition of what he sells. sold me a stock fd wheel that was CRACKED and 1/2 *** repaired. even though, before purchase, i had specifically asked if there was any damage etc to the wheels and asked him to check.

also took 1 month to ship out instead of 1 week as promised. and i had to bug him every 2 days while he had plenty of excuses.
